Taylor Constantine Averill is a professional middle-block volleyball player representing Team USA. He was born on March 5, 1992, in Portland, Oregon. He went to Branham High School and played for the Bay-to-Bay Volleyball Club, where he began his journey. After four years, Taylor went to the University of Irvine, California, and stayed for a year. He left for the University of Hawaii to continue his academic and athletic journey.

His professional contract began in Italy, where he played for Tonazzo Padova in the Super Lega A1 for two years, earning $25,000 in his first year and $30,000 in his second year. Before moving to France to play for Chaumont Volleyball 52 Haute-Marne and AS Cannes for four seasons, Taylor had one season with Revivre Milano in Italy. During the 2020–2021 season, he won the French championship with AS Cannes and the Best Middle Blocker award.

At the 2018 FIVB World Championship held in Italy and Bulgaria, Taylor won the bronze medal. He won gold medals at the FIVB World Cup (Japan), the NORCECA Championship (Charleston), and the silver medal at the FIVB Nations League (Gdańsk) in 2023. Taylor signed a three-year deal with the Indykpol AZS Olsztyn club of Poland in 2021, then left for Projekt Warszawa to play for a season, winning the CEV Challenge Cup. He made a return trip to Italy to play with Mint Vero Volley Monza.

Throughout his career, he has played 315 matches across 45 tournaments, winning seven awards. Taylor Averill is one of the 12 selected for the United States Men’s Volleyball Team for the 2024 Paris Olympics. He co-runs an online Middle Blockers Academy with his friend Dustin Watten. Taylor also models for brands and hosts a podcast called “The Tallest Podcast on Earth.” His girlfriend`s name is Hannah Faith Lord.
