Team USA’s day two at the Paris Olympics will be slightly busier than their opening day. In action will be the country's archers, men's rugby team, and women's football team. The American women's gymnastics team will also be making an appearance, as they take to the mats for podium training.
Getting the day going will be archers Casey Kaufhold, Jennifer Mucino-Fernandez, and Catalina Gnoriega, as they begin their campaign in the City of Lights with their individual ranking rounds. Kaufhold will be leading the charge as the most experienced member of the women's team, having competed at the Tokyo Olympics.
Brady Ellison will be the sole American archer in action in the men's individual ranking rounds which take place a few hours after the women's rounds. He is a three-time Olympic medalist, and hunting for his maiden gold in Paris.
Elsewhere at the Paris Olympics, the men's rugby team will resume their campaign, playing Uruguay for their final group-stage match. They will then move on to either the placing rounds or the quarterfinals later in the day, depending on their performance in Group C.
Meanwhile, Thursday will also see the American women's football team begin their outing at the event, as they take on Zambia. Earlier in the day, gymnasts Simone Biles, Suni Lee, Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey, and Hezly Rivera will also be in action, as they perform in the podium training session.
