Victor Montalvo, also known by the name B-Boy Victor, is a Professional American breakdancer. Born on May 1, 1994, in Orlando, Florida, his passion for breaking began at a young age, fueled by his father Victor Bermudez, and uncle Hector Bermudez. The Bermudez twins were one of the pioneers of the art form in Mexico.
Montalvo a two-time champion of the Red Bull BC One, one of the greatest achievements in the breaking world. He also secured the gold medal at the 2022 World Games and the 2023 WDSF World Breaking Championships. In 2024, he became the first-ever American breaker to qualify for the Olympics, making history as the sport debuts on the world's biggest sporting stage in the 2024 Olympics.

Victor Montalvo attended the Gateway High School in Kissimmee, Florida, his hometown. It is the site of one of the largest Performing Arts Centers in Osceola County. The public high school was inaugurated in 1986. Notable former Baseball pitcher and coach Joe Torres is one of the alumni of Gateway High School. While Montalvo did attend Gateway High School, he did not complete his studies there and decided to drop out to pursue a career in braking. He cites his father Victor Bermudez to be the only one who truly believed in Montalvo’s decision. Montalvo has learned to break from the ones who popularized breaking all over the world. He cites the Rock Steady Crew as a great influence in his career, and not only does he listen to the original crew, but also tries to put the learnings in his own craft.
Around 2020, Montalvo started losing his passion and love for the sports, because it did not feel the same to him anymore. To him, it started feeling like the same thing over and over again. However, he met the BMX Icon Daniel Dhers in a training camp, whose motivational discussion ignited Montalvo’s passion for breaking once again.

Victor Montalvo reportedly did not attend a College and has not graduated. He had dropped out of high school to pursue his passion for breaking. His gamble paid through as Breaking is now also set to make its debut at the Summer Olympics in the 2024 event, becoming the first dancesport to feature in the Olympics. Due to his performances in the 2023 World Championship, Victor earned a spot in the Olympics, becoming the first American to do so.
