American shooter and Olympian Vincent Charles Hancock was born in Port Charlotte, Florida, on March 19, 1989. He broke the Olympic record in the men's skeet discipline at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. He made it to the 2020 Summer Olympics in the United States, where he defeated Jesper Hansen of Denmark and Abdullah Alrashidi of Kuwait to win his third Olympic gold medal. Hancock, who has won 29 medals from international tournaments, including the Olympics, is among the most accomplished shooters in the sport's history.
