Jade Carey and Joscelyn Roberson hilariously celebrated themselves for performing on the Gold Over America tour without dropping out of their NCAA careers. Carey competes for the Oregon State Beavers and Roberson signed with the Arkansas Razorbacks in 2023.

Jade Carey was a member of the gold-winning US women's gymnastics team at the 2024 Paris Games, and Joscelyn Roberson traveled as an alternate. The former also won the individual bronze in the vault behind Simone Biles and Rebeca Andrade. Following their success at the marquee event in Paris, the gymnasts set sail on the Gold Over America tour with their fellow Olympians with Biles as the front-runner.

Before the tour kicked off at Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, Carey and her younger teammate Roberson celebrated their simultaneous careers - the NCAA and elite gymnastics, in a TikTok video posted by the former.

They grooved to the beats of 'We Did It' from Dora The Explorer with the in-text caption reading:

"us when we make it another day on tour without dropping out of college."

Roberson signed the Letter of Intent with the Arkansas Razorbacks in November 2023. She committed to start her classes with the Razorbacks in the 2024-25 season. On the other hand, Carey made her NCAA debut in 2022 after officially signing with the Oregon State Beavers in 2017. She has amassed four silvers and a bronze at the NCAA Championships.

The 24-year-old also won seven Pac-12 titles and several other accolades in her NCAA career. At the 2024 NCAA Championships, she won silver in the all-around alongside Leanne Wong of Florida and behind LSU Tigers' Haleigh Bryant.

When the NCAA season was in full swing, Jade Carey participated in the US National Championships and clinched the bronze medal in the vault. She then participated in the Swiss Cup, paired with Yul Moldauer to win the first position.

Simuktabensouly, Roberson was selected for the National team for the DTB Pokal Challenge, where she won gold on vault and silver on floor exercise. At the Pan American Championships, she contributed scores to Team USA's gold finish and won individual gold in the floor exercise and silver in the vault and balance beam.

The 18-year-old Texas native helped Team USA qualify for the 2023 World Championships finals. However, before she took the mat for the vault finals, Roberson suffered an uncharacteristic fall and hurt her ankle, resulting in her pulling out. Despite that, the US women's gymnastics team lifted its seventh World title.
