Reigning Olympic and World Champion Noah Lyles, along with his Jamaican partner Junelle Bromfield, made heads turns at the New York Fashion Week. The couple graced the runway together at the recent NY fashion spectacle.
Following their Paris Olympics campaigns, where Lyles won the 100m gold and a 200m bronze while Bromfield represented her nation in the 400m and mixed 4x400m relay, the two have been enjoying each other's company. Their camaraderie was evident during their recent outing at the US Open where the two attended the event while showcasing high-end fashion.
In a recent development in their careers, the couple was recently invited at the NYFW to walk the runway for American DJ and two-time Grammy nominee Steve Aoki's Dim Mak collection. Dim Mak partnered with Toei Animation's iconic One Piece series on their 25th anniversary to present a unique fashion experience in the form of Dim Mak x Toei Animation *One Piece* Spring/Summer 2025 collection.
The event also marked the ramp walk debut of Junelle Bromfield at New York Fashion Week, while Noah Lyles already graced the Adidas x Willy Chavarria SS25 collection on the first day of the event. Bromfield donned a purple dress with the DMC logo on the front and center of it, while Lyles sported a green jacket, yellow cargo pants, and a dark magenta hat to complete the look. The 26-year-old Jamaican shared a glimpse of their rampwalk on her Instagram story.
Here's the story posted by Junelle Bromfield from her NYFW debut.
"I just want to say how incredibly proud I am of my GF" - Noah Lyles applauds Junelle Bromfield
Junelle Bromfield came under the scanner of Jamaican fans after Noah Lyles revealed in an interview with Track World News that he gets insider information from the Jamaican camp through his girlfriend. This led to Jamaican fans calling Bromfield a traitor and even demanding that she return her passport.
Following that, the Florida-based sprinter took to his Instagram handle to support his partner and expressed his pride in her.
"I just want to say how incredibly proud I am of my GF and give her the flowers she deserves now 💐. She has been through so much in her life that I could never imagine fighting through. Beyond that she is a survivor, 2x Olympian, Olympic medalists, Multi world championship medalist, and has been representing Jamaica on the world stage since she was 8 years old." He wrote
"But the most impressive thing I’ve seen recently is how she’s dealt with the pure disrespect and hatred towards her from her own country. This woman has been attacked by people who have never met her, heard her name before, never seen her smile, or heard what she believes in. But she keeps moving forward knowing that God will always make a way. That's why God keeps blessing her!" Lyles added
In response to Noah Lyles' post, Bromfield made a heartwarming comment expressing her gratitude for his unwavering support.
