Tara Davis-Woodhall and Hunter Woodhall are officially the golden couple of the track and field world, with the long jumper winning gold at the Paris Olympics, while her husband walked away with a gold in the 400m T62 event at the Paris Paralympics. For Davis-Woodhall, a strong season translated to an absolutely dominant performance in Paris. The American sailed through her opening rounds, and was the only jumper in the final to breach the 7 meter mark.

After her gold at the Paris Olympics was confirmed, the 25-year-old fell back into the landing pit to celebrate by making ‘sand angels’. She then ran to her husband who was in the stands, and jumped into his arms for a hug, with pictures of the moment going viral across the internet.

Now, a couple weeks after this, the roles have been reversed for the couple, with Hunter Woodhall taking to the tracks of Stade De France while his wife watched on from the stands.

After the runner stormed to his first ever Paralympics gold medal, winning the men's 400m T62 event in a time of 46.36s, he ran to Tara Davis-Woodhall in the stands, celebrating the second gold medal between the two.

Tara Davis-Woodhall also reposted a picture of her and her husband both sporting their gold medals, and captioned it,

“LETS GOOOOOOO.”

For the long jumper, her 2024 season has been nothing short of phenomenal. She started her year with a win at the Razorbacks Invitational in January, and has gone unbeaten since. Her best performance of the year came at the the USA Indoor Championships in February, where she registered a new personal best of 7.18m.
