“10/10” - Love is Blind UK star Tom expresses interest in Natasha

Love is Blind UK is a spinoff series that helps contestants achieve their goal of finding love on the show. The series has succeeded in doing so so far, as one of the couples this season, Tom and Natasha, found an instant connection.

Tom, a PR and advertising consultant from London, had been in one long-term relationship. However, after that didn't work out, he focused on evolving as a person.

Meanwhile, Natasha is a careers coordinator looking for a love story just like her parents who have been married for 42 years. In episode 2, viewers witnessed Tom expressing his interest in getting to know Natasha more.

During his confessional interview, he admitted to making a bond with both Maria and Natasha. He said:

"Natasha, 10/10. I could just see her immediately really, really hitting it off with my friends and my family. There's something that I just, I can't place it. But I'm feeling connections with Maria as well."

Love is Blind UK season 1 episode 2, titled Two's a Couple, Three's a Love Triangle was released on Netflix on August 7, 2024. The episode synopsis reads:

"As connections deepen, the singles start to open up to each other and share their vulnerabilities. But is everybody really who they say they are?"

Tom and Natasha's connection on Love is Blind UK episode 2

On Love is Blind UK episode 2, Natasha and Tom introduced each other in the pods. When Natasha asked Tom if he could see himself getting married in the future, he explained it's a "lifelong commitment" of trust and loyalty.

As per Tom, he wanted authenticity in his relationship where he could be completely himself without having doubts that his partner might leave him.

The 38-year-old was planning on settling down with someone who would be sure of spending the rest of their life with him. He told Natasha:

"Marriage to me is a life long commitment to someone, and I wanna be able to show myself to someone without being worried that they are gonna walk away."

Natasha was impressed by Tom's honesty and how he described his feelings regarding marriage. The Love is Blind UK contestant shed some light on her previous long-term relationship which ended over two years ago.

She expressed her fears of falling in love again as at the back of her mind, there was a voice that would tell her it wouldn't work out, just like her last relationship. Natasha mentioned:

"I think there's definitely strength in the fact that you can be vulnerable. I feel like in my last relationship there was more that I wanted from it, I guess. And I'm just scared that I don't want that to happen again."

She further clarified that she wanted to be on the "same page" with her potential partner "from day one" as she is seeking someone to do "life with." Tom agreed, stating that marriage requires effort and completely being yourself in front of your partner whether it's "good times or bad times."

"To be in a marriage, like, you need to show every part of yourself to that person. the bad times as well as the good and not be afraid that they're gonna like, judge you."
