Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz devised the game show-style cooking competition series Is It Cake? hosted by Mikey Day. In an attempt to deceive celebrity judges, contestants make cakes that mimic everyday objects.
Each episode's winner receives $5,000 and has the opportunity to win more funds by correctly recognizing which cake display is fake and which is real. It is is based on the same-named viral online craze that gained popularity on TikTok and YouTube.
The judges must identify if a beautifully decorated cake is real or a cake clone disguised as a popular meal or object. Contestants are given eight hours to prepare and decorate a cake that resembles a chosen object in each episode.
Similar to Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking, Is It Cake? allows contestants to work on the theme of duplicating cakes. In Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking, the contestants are told to work on magical concepts from the Harry Potter saga.

Similar to Is It Cake?, three amateur bakers compete to duplicate cakes and confections in order to win a $10,000 cash prize and the "Nailed It" trophy in this reality television-style bake-off series. With a guest judge in every episode, they compete in two challenges, which are evaluated by co-hosts Nicole Byer and Jacques Torres, throughout 35-minute episodes.
The second challenge, "Nail It or Fail It," offers the option to press the "Panic Button," where the contestants have two hours to recreate a complicated cake. The judgment is based on the presentation and flavor of the cakes, and the winner takes home a trophy and a $10,000 award.

In Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown, a travel and culinary show, Anthony Bourdain travels the world to discover the cuisines and customs of lesser-known places.
The show won 12 Primetime Emmys and a 2013 Peabody Award. The digital series Explore Parts Unknown also won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Short Form Nonfiction or Reality Series.
Additionally, Anthony Bourdain invited former US President Obama to dine with him in Hanoi. In season 8 episode 6, titled Hanoi, the two had lunch of bún chả at a simple family-run restaurant, an episode that became extremely popular.
