On 1000-lb Sisters season 6 episode 10, Tammy asked her doctors whether she could get the skin removal surgery. As viewers already know, previously Tammy was rejected for the surgery due to her having a major health concern.
In this session, however, Tammy's doctor shared it was possible for her to undergo the surgery but not right away. He explained that they would focus on each body part one by one and break the process into "different surgical procedures." He continued:
"We shouldn't do everything at once that's a great stress on the body. we will break things up into different surgical procedures."
During her confessional interview, Tammy expressed her wish to have skin removal surgery as soon as possible. She opened up about the difficulties she faces in her day-to-day life due to the skin near her belly. Tammy shared she wanted to be a "brand new me" once she undergoes surgery.

I have been waiting to hear that I can get my skin removed for so long. when I get rid of this skin, I'm gonna be a brand new me."
Hoping for a positive comment, Tammy's doctor revealed that it was the right time to start planning for the surgery. But this meant, the 1000-lb Sisters star Tammy had to stop vaping, her nutrition levels were down and her lung health wasn't exactly the best. The doctor said:
"I think we can start planning for the surgery, for the lower part of the belly and for the chin."
Amy was concerned about Tammy developing a vape addiction to relieve herself from stress. Tammy's doctor shared a plan with her to focus on getting her nutrients level up and quitting vaping.
