“Lately I've been feeling like it's time for me to start moving on and to start seeking love again, but this time I'm thinking of seeing a female. As it stands right now, I don't want to be with another man. It just doesn't feel right. I don't even have those feelings for a guy anymore after Caleb passed,” Tammy said.

Marriage and loss
1000-Lb Sisters star Slaton's relationship with Caleb Willingham started at Windsor Lane Rehabilitation Center in Gibsonburg, Ohio. Their connection formed quickly within the facility's environment, and they got married in November 2022.
When attending Willingham's memorial service in February 2024, Tammy told Chris that she was having her "ups and downs." The reality star noted that while it hurt when their grandmother died, Caleb's death was a "different kind of hurt."
“But this is a different kind of hurt….it sure is a pretty day though,” she said.
At his service, Tammy said that the two had spend seven months together as a married couple before he died. She noted that their bond had grown since they met, which made his loss feel particularly profound.
Before his passing, Slaton had addressed relationship challenges through social media updates. Earlier this year, Tammy spoke about her previous identification as pans*xual and her evolving understanding of her own needs and desires on TikTok.
“I was saying I was pansexual but I kinda stopped messing with guys after my husband passed. So, I’m like a lesbian. Love is love. Everybody deserves love whether they’re gay, straight, trans, pan, bi, nonbinary, whatever. I’m just a lover" Tammy said.
