“2 clowns”— Love is Blind Mexico fans call out Chema and Silvia’s wedding drama

Love is Blind Mexico's episodes 9 and 10 came out on August 15 on Netflix. It saw the couples going through the final stage of the experiment and bracing themselves to make the correct decision on the aisle.

Chema and Silvia were among the couples who went down the aisle on episode 10 of the show. Before they went to the altar, Chema's family and friends questioned his decision to marry Silvia because they thought he didn't give himself enough time to think if he really wanted to marry.

So when they got to the altar, viewers held their breath because none of them could guess what Chema was about to do. In a shocking turn of events, when the officiator asked them to say "I do", they said "I love you" to each other, and ran away.

After they ran away from the altar, they told the cameras that they were never the ones to follow the rules. Fans of Love is Blind Mexico took to X to comment on this moment. Most criticized their act of running away from deciding their fate.

"They are 2 clowns. I feel Chema convinced Silvi to agree to the mess cos he's either not ready or non-committal," one fan said.

The officiator of Chema and Silvia's wedding gave a speech appropriate to their relationship at the altar on Love is Blind Mexico. She said that they fell in love through the pods without seeing each other and added that their love prevailed after all the "social prejudices" they had to go through.

The officiator then asked them to say a few words before she went on to ask the big question. Silvia said that she discovered that Love truly was Blind with Chema. Chema teared up when he read his letter, he listed everything he liked about Silvia and called her a "warrior".

When the officiator asked them to say "I do", they held hands and ran away from the altar.
