90 Day Fiance is a captivating American reality TV series that premiered on TLC on January 12, 2014. The show introduces a unique concept where international couples are faced with the ultimatum of either getting married within 90 days or ending their relationship.

It chronicles the intricate journey of foreign couples who have taken the significant step of applying for a K-1 visa and are embarking on the challenging path to marriage with their respective partners in the US within the strict timeframe of 90 days.

The K-1 visa grants the international fiance a brief 90-day window to visit their partner in the US and tie the knot. The official synopsis of the show read:

"Using a unique 90-Day Fiance (K-1) visa, overseas fiances will travel to the US to live with their partners for the first time. Each couple will have just 90 days to decide to get married or send their international mate home."

The show has been running for almost a decade now and has produced 10 seasons so far along with many spin-offs. In covering such a sensitive concept, the show has spilled some scandals as well.
