90 Day Fiancé: Are Shekinah Garner and Sarper Güven still together?

Shekinah Garner and Sarper Güven first appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way in season 5 of the show in August of 2023. Since then the two have been together and are still going strong. They have a joint Instagram account which they keep well updated and regularly post about what they are up to.

With the onset of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 7, releasing on September 1, fans of the franchise have gotten curious about couples from the previous season— especially Shekinah and Sarper, because they chose to fight for their relationship.

In a recent Instagram post, made on August 25, Shekinah and Sarper were seen together with the caption,

"When you’re lovers & best friends".

The couple, who met each other in Turkey when Shekinah was there on a trip, fell for each other after their first few dates and decided on a forever. 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way saw them encountering several problems, yet they stuck it out to let their love prevail. Their popularity made them come back in season 6, which further saw their encounters with each other's families.

In another recent post the couple made on Instagram on August 12, they were hanging out with their family. The thread had several pictures and was captioned "Family." It saw the two hanging out with Shekinah's family, which had senior members as well as children.

Most other pictures on their timeline are of the two of them doing different things together, such as making reels on an ongoing trend, engaging in hobbies together, or visiting places.

Problems that 90 Day Fiancé stars Shekinah and Sarper faced in their relationship

In a 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 5 episode, released on September 18, fans saw the two of them getting into their first major argument. It was over Sarper's mattress which he had been using for 12 years.

Shekinah wanted him to change it because she didn't want to sleep on a bed he had been making other girls sleep on. She also mentioned how Sarper had told her he had been with more than 2500 girls and blamed it for the condition of the headrest.

Sarper found the mattress alright and said it made him feel comfortable. However, Shekinah insisted on him changing it and went to sleep on the couch until he fixed it.

Another argument between them happened in the episode dated October 2, 2023. Shekinah was mad at Sarper for not acting like he was in a relationship with her. To make it up to her, Sarper strip teased in a construction outfit, which seemed to do the trick. However, things went downhill again when she found out that most clients of her personal trainer boyfriend were women.

On season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, Shekinah and Sarper's life was going through a set of new problems. The two were in a long distance because the former had returned to the United States, while the latter remained in Turkey.

Their union was stalled for three more months because of Shekinah's financial problems. Sarper wasn't able to help much either because Shekinah forbade him from training women, who made up 90 percent of his income.

While they were away from each other, Shekinah's friends warned her against Sarper because they thought he had too many red flags to be good for her. Yet, she trusted her gut and kept going, which resulted in them living happily thereafter.
