The first episode saw Tigerlily bucking up to get married to Adnan the day she landed in Jordan, because his religion forbade him from hugging or kissing any woman before marrying her.

The aforementioned post was a reel, a montage of clips from Tigerlily and Adnan’s wedding. Posted on September 29, 2023, the reel was captioned,

“Where there is love, there is life”.

It documented their aesthetic wedding celebrations in Bebek Halls, an affluent wedding venue in Jordan. The white and pink flower decorations were themed well with the welcome dancers who dressed in white, and the serving staff who were also camouflaged perfectly in white outfits.

The reel also saw musicians and dancers entertaining, while the guests danced and enjoyed the festivities. Lastly, the wedding, with fireworks, confetti, and designer spotlights, made for an ornate wedding. The bride and the groom too looked content with how things panned out.

The introductory episode saw 41-year-old Tigerlily excited to see her 22-year-old Jordanian boo, whom she met with on a social media site, like most other couples on the season. She was going to fly to Jordan for their first meeting and was also going to marry him on the same day as she landed.

This was shocking for many 90 Day Fiancé fans because Adnan was practically a stranger to her, as she hadn't met him before. They also took note of the fact that Tigerlily had a failed relationship in the past because her ex-husband was controlling and she felt trapped in a "golden bird cage."

Some fans thought her to be a bad judge of character and disapproved of her decision to marry Adnan so quickly.

In her defense, the handwriting expert said on the show that she asked her Jordanian boyfriend to send her a handwritten note, which she examined and deduced that there was nothing to worry about. She also assumed that Adnan was rich and she didn't feel the need to get him to sign a prenup because she believed:

"I mean, you could have more money than me".

Tigerlily's life coach, Steph also raised concerns about her decision to marry Adnan. She even tried coaxing her to not take the step so fast, but the former stayed firm with her decision.

Steph also called her relationship with Adnan "convenient and suspicious," because she suspected Adnan of only wanting to marry her because she had money or because he wanted to come to America.
