The seventh season of 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days premiered on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at 8 pm ET on TLC. The episode introduced eight new couples who met in person for the first time, seeking to determine if their online connections could translate to real-life relationships.
The series will follow their journey as they navigate the process to obtain K-1 visas. The visa permits foreign-born fiancés of US citizens to enter the country with the stipulation that they must marry within 90 days.
When the seventh season premiered, it showcased the journey of eight couples, but by the end of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 7 episode 17, only four remained together. The four couples who broke up are Rayne Fernandez and Chidi Ikpeamaeze, Brian Muniz and Ingrid Rezende, Vanja Grbic and Božo Vrdoljak, and Loren Allen and Faith Gatoc Tulod.
Who are the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 7 couples who have broken up?
1) Rayne Fernandez and Chidi Ikpeamaeze (not together)
A tumultuous split has unfolded between 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days stars Rayne Fernandez and Chidi Ikpeamaeze, marked by accusations from both sides. Rayne has alleged that Chidi exploited his disability to manipulate and deceive others, claiming he compensated his girlfriend on the show to fabricate storylines.
Rayne also cited Chidi's vow of celibacy as a significant factor in their emotional disconnection. She claimed that this affected their intimacy and strained their relationship. In response, Chidi has denied these allegations, instead accusing Rayne of infidelity and asserting his innocence.
The situation has escalated further, with Rayne criticizing TLC for biased editing. She claimed the network portrayed her unfavorably while omitting crucial moments that supposedly exposed Chidi's questionable behavior. What initially appeared to be a promising journey for love has devolved into a highly publicized and contentious dispute.
2) Brian Muniz and Ingrid Rezende
Brian and Ingrid's relationship issues began before the previous episode when Brian questioned Ingrid's intentions. He wondered if she was seeking a better life in the US rather than genuinely loving him. Ingrid was hurt by Brian's accusations, feeling unfairly labeled. Their reunion to discuss the argument highlighted the emotional distance between them.
"Accusing me of being a gold digger, that I want to go to your country, that I want to take my children there to have a good life. I don't deserve it," stated Ingrid.
Brian acknowledged the tension and Ingrid expressed her feelings, stating she felt misunderstood and that Brian's accusations were unfounded. Brian left the door open for goodwill, expressing his desire for Ingrid's well-being. However, their final meeting seemed to mark the end of their relationship. Ingrid conveyed her readiness to move on, stating that their relationship had failed.
3) Vanja Grbic and Bozo Vrdoljak
Vanja met Bozo, a Croatian basketball player, on a dating app during her solo trip to Eastern Europe. After an initial connection, Bozo stopped communicating, revealing he was seeing someone else. He later reconnected with Vanja and expressed interest in pursuing a relationship. Vanja visited Bozo in Croatia, but he only told his mother about her a day before her arrival.
90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star Vanja experienced travel issues and Bozo was unresponsive until she reached Frankfurt. Upon meeting, Bozo gave Vanja a gift but introduced her as "just a friend" during a cooking class. Vanja confronted Božo about his intentions, and he admitted he only wanted to have fun together. The couple decided to part ways, and Vanja continued her stay in Croatia.
4) Loren Allen and Faith Gatoc Tulod
Faith and Loren met on a dating app six months before filming. Loren kept secrets from Faith, including his interest in polygamy and financial struggles. He was homeless in America and had been accused of not paying child support. Faith initially overlooked these issues but broke up with Loren after discovering his infidelity. They later got back together again after a while.
Loren proposed to Faith, and she accepted. However, they couldn't get married in the Philippines due to the country's laws. An immigration lawyer informed them that same-s*x marriage was not recognized in Thailand, and their only option was to get married in the US.
“This is what I didn’t want to hear because the whole point was to never leave here. I don’t want to go back to Vegas. I don’t want to go back to my life," stated Loren.
Loren admitted he couldn't meet the sponsorship requirements for a K-1 visa due to his financial situation. Faith ended their relationship and returned the engagement ring.
