The 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days episode kicked off with Sunny and Veah meeting up with Sunny's father, Shahin, in a cafe. The couple presented the father with a cake which failed to impress him as he mentioned that he wasn't as happy to see Veah as she walked out when they last met. Veah explained that she felt "attacked" due to her religion being different and took the necessary steps.
Shahin asked for a guarantee in the future Veah won't react like that to which Veah agreed. Still upset by the situation, Shahin asked Veah if she planned to convert after marrying Sunny. This prompted Sunny to disclose that he wouldn't ask Veah to convert. The situation escalated as Shahin asked Sunny to either choose Veah or his own family.
In another segment of 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days, Joe and Magda tried to clear things out after Magda found out that her partner was still in contact with his ex. Joe gave the clarification that he had been friends with his ex for 15 years and had no intention of pursuing her romantically. Magda expressed that she was feeling upset because Joe lied to her about the situation.
"I understand you're mad about the lying part. It was a bad judgment part. I'm not hiding anything else, like, I love you, I wanna spend my life with you. I really don't wanna lose you, Magda," expressed Joe.
Ultimately, Magda forgave Joe as he apologized for creating such a situation on the condition that he wouldn't meet his ex face-to-face. She asked for more time to trust him and Joe appreciated the fact that Magda allowed him to stay in contact with his ex. In a separate confessional, Magda revealed that this would be Joe's last chance as she did not plan to forgive him again.
Later, Matilda got emotional as Niles headed back to the United States. In a confessional, Niles expressed that he was eager for Matilda to join him back home. Matilda expressed that she was upset because she didn't want to continue their relationship through long distance. Niles stated that he wanted to focus on his new job and save money for their future.
"You know, I wasn't really planning on getting married on this trip, so I didn't do this much research on the visa process as I probably honestly should have done," revealed Niles.
Vanja talked to her friend on 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days as she was confused about the situation with Josko. Vanja met Josko after ending ties with Bozo on her Croatia trip. After a few dates, Josko ghosted Vanja and her friend suggested that she should seek some sort of clarification.
Josko and Vanja finally got on a call and the Croatian clarified although he was having a hard time not conversing with Vanja, he made the decision to separate because of his kid. Vanja earlier mentioned to Josko that she was not fond of having kids in the future. Josko ultimately apologized for ghosting her but wanted "a day or two" to figure out their future.
