The popular reality show franchise 90 Day Fiance is back with the seventh season of 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days. The new season will premiere on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at 8 pm ET on TLC, introducing new couples.

In 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days, the featured couples will meet for the first time to find out if their online matches can last in the real world. Foreign fiances with K-1 visas will visit the United States, which has a requirement that the couples should marry within a 90-day window.

This season will feature spouses from various countries, including Nigeria, the Philippines, Ghana, Poland, Brazil, Jordan, South Africa, and Croatia. 90 Day Fiance has several spin-off series, including 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After, 90 Day Fiance: Pillow Talk, and 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way.

1) Rayne is a self-professed "quirky weirdo"

Rayne is a chicken farmer from New Mexico, and due to her profession, she tends to stay alone working on the farm. In the sneak peek, she calls herself a "quirky weirdo" compared to what other people do in their day-to-day lives.

Rayne has two kids, a 16-year-old daughter, Lexi, and an 8-year-old son, Devin. Both her kids have different fathers, and the relationships didn't work out because they were both "very toxic."

Rayne mentions her desire to feel romance, not just physically but emotionally as well. She expressed her desire to exchange passionate words of affirmation with his partner, which she hasn't experienced, claiming she has never "seen that or witnessed it or been close to it."

2) Chidi wasn't born with his blindness

Rayne's partner for the last five years is Chidi, who hails from Lagos, Nigeria. Chidi is blind but was able to see till the age of 17. Chidi stated that he lost his sight after his friend climbed a tree, which catapulted an apple falling from the tree, hitting his right eye.

These events resulted in his eyesight deteriorating, and on one fateful evening, due to his poor eyesight, he hit his left eye on a wooden desk. After visiting the hospital, the doctors declared that Chidi had gone blind in both eyes. Chidi revealed he felt devastated because he felt his "whole world has come to an end."

Chidi further explained that he sometimes gets flashes of light, and with the help of the sounds of his environment, he could visualize what is going on.

3) Rayne expressed interest in Chidi first

As the sneak peek reveals, the couple was shy due to their failed experiences with love. Chidi, a devout catholic, was unsure if his blindness would affect Rayne's attraction towards him. Rayne revealed that she went on the internet to find friends, but after looking at Chidi, she felt she had met the right person for herself.

She expressed her love for Chidi on the phone, which made him giggle with joy. Rayne stated that when she sent selfies to Chidi, he didn't respond, which left her feeling confused. This prompted Rayne to send a more intimate picture and later got to know the reason for his quiet behavior was his blindness.
