In 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 6 episode 18, Lily asked Josh why he would blame her. She was referring to the argument they had previously when James got defensive in front of Lily's daughter, Vivian. Lily confronted Josh as to why he was "pointing out" her problems, she said:
"I spoke to my daughter yesterday. I think during our first meeting yesterday when Vivian started to ask you questions, you were desperately trying to protect yourself. So you kept pointing out my problems. When you get sensitive, you tend to blame the person who loves you the most. It's not right."
