Tata and James

When Tata saw her parents on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, she got on her knees and wept as she asked for their forgiveness. She felt like a burden for moving back to Indonesia with her parents. Her father forgives her. She also apologized to James for not being the best wife. James disagreed.

They later argued about what had gone down with her parents. She said she felt like James forced her to talk to her parents. She also felt like sleeping at her parent's house instead of the hotel. However, they both eventually concluded that they wouldn't stay in Indonesia if it strained their relationship. While Tata agreed to it, she was worried James was talking about leaving the country already.

Joanne and Sean

Joanne's mom was at her place because she was looking after her cats when Joanne and her children were in Ireland, being with Sean. When she reunited with her daughter on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, she asked her what Sean's intentions were.

This was when Joanne revealed to her that she had been secretly married to Sean for more than two years. Her mom was shocked to hear the news. She asked her how did she not tell her mother she was married. She also worried that her daughter might not know the guy well enough to be married to him.

She added that she felt disrespected by Sean too, because he didn't talk to her before getting married to her daughter. Joanne defended her decision by explaining that she didn't want to hear "anybody else's opinions, negativity, and drama".

The couple then got ready to go meet Ingi's parents. Corona felt nervous to meet his parents because they hadn't met a black person ever before. She said:

"I’m quite possibly the first Black person that they’ve met in real life, so I feel so much pressure to make a good impression".
