Former Love Island Australia couple Dylan and Sophie may have broken up after leaving the show, but signs of trouble began to surface during their final moments in the villa. When the couple returned during the finale episode of Truth Bike challenge, they felt a bit distant.

Sophie revealed that they argued because Dylan felt jealous of her holding Zane's hand in a club a day after they had been dumped from the villa.

During the finale episode of season 6, she asked Dylan if he had "trust issues" with her and urged him to give an example of where the conflict came from. He replied:

"Do I have trust issues? 100%. Sounds crazy, that me and Zane, we're all chatting about Zane's love life outside the villa and we're just chatting about it. And straight away your body language switched up and it's like you acted jealous,"

After being dumped, Dylan and Sophie returned to the Love Island Australia season 6 finale, alongside a few other eliminated couples, for one last challenge: Truth Bike. Each contestant took turns sitting on the cycle and answering the questions about what they had been up to since leaving the villa.

When it was time for Dylan to ride the bike, Em asked him if he and Sophie had an argument since they looked a bit distant. He replied with a yes and added that they argued last night when they were both drunk. However, he noted that he did feel a certain way about a particular situation.

Sophie chimed that after being dumped from the villa, they were "on a high" and excited to meet their fellow Love Island Australia contestants. When they got to the club, everyone was really happy, and it was packed.

As they were walking down to the dance floor, Zane came up to Sophie and held out his hand, which she went ahead with. However, since the two had a history, Sophie shared that Dylan felt jealous and felt like she still had something for Zane.

"I judged the room and based my decision off previous things in the villa. And if you know your partner isn't comfortable around someone because something's happened in the past you would make it your business not to betray that," Dylan responded.

Sophie, however, was still confused and asked her Love Island Australia castmate if he was struggling because he had trust issues with her. She further urged him to give examples from what he saw last night that led him to act the way he did.

After saying that he did have trust issues, he shared that last night, when he was with Zane, they discussed the latter's love life outside the villa. Zane showed him a picture of a girl he was interested in, and during that moment, Dylan said that he noticed Sophie getting jealous.

Sophie, however, clarified that her curiosity stemmed from Dylan's approval of the girl after seeing her picture. She further said that she didn't care about Zane and liked Dylan.

"Because you looked at the picture of this girl and said 'Yes, she's it'. And I said 'Who are you talking about?' I don't give a f*ck about Zane. I like you, Dylan, and you're not seeing it. It's f*cking crazy. Like it's crazy. Like you're actually delusional," the Love Island Australia star said.

When it was Sophie's turn to hop on the bike, Em asked her if she saw herself falling in love with Dylan. Sophie said yes but was still upset about her recent interaction with him.

While the couple tried to work on their relationship outside the villa, they eventually broke up. They confirmed their split during a December 13, 2024, interview with 9Entertainment, where Dylan revealed that he was currently rekindling his relationship with Mimi.
