AGT season 19 live shows are just around the corner giving the audience an opportunity to save their favorite acts. Now that the auditions and the elimination round have wrapped up, the live shows will help the viewers decide which contestant is deserving of heading to the next round.

As announced by NBC, the Paris Olympics had taken over the 8/7c slot and the AGT episode releases were paused. The upcoming live shows will begin airing from August 13, 2024 onwards. This time 44 participants are competing in the quarterfinals after they received a yes from the judges during the audition round.

What can fans expect from the AGT season 19 live shows?
On AGT season 19, the four rounds include Auditions, Live Quarterfinals, Live Semifinals, and a two-week Finale event. However, this time the live show format has been switched a little bit. Following the basic rules of the competition, an unexpected addition to the format will surprise the viewers.
Previously on the show, judges had no power after the auditions. Each participant's destiny was determined by the number of votes and indirectly with a large fan following. This time, judges have a say in who heads to the next round by using a Live Show Golden Buzzer. During the auditions, they had two chances to press the golden buzzer not once like the previous AGT seasons.
The majority of the voting power is still in the hands of fans as each judge receives an option to send one of the acts to the finals. After the quarter-final week wraps up, 12 acts will perform in the Live Semifinal round. Each round will get closer to the $1 million prize winner revelation.
As AGT season 19 returns full of twists and turns, this is a chance for fans to cast their votes right away.
