America's Got Talent season 19 aired on NBC on May 28, 2024. Jabu & Cornelio
Jabu and Cornelio, a duo, presented a combination of drum and tap dancing at the audition round of America's Got Talent season 19. The act received a standing ovation from three judges and 'Yes' from all four. The official synopsis of their audition reads:
"Jabu and Cornelio met in Times Square and the rest is history! The drumming and tap dancing duo perform to "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" and "Conga."
The duo passed the audition round. However, they could not make it to the quarterfinals as they got evicted in the deliberations.
B Thompson
The saxophonist from Indianapolis, Indiana, B. Thompson, impressed the judges with his performance, receiving 'Yeses' from all four judges and a standing ovation from Howie Mandel and Sofia Vergara. The bio for Thompson's performance reads:
"Self taught saxophonist B. Thompson performs "What's Love Got To Do With It" by Tina Turner! See why Sofia Vergara calls this performance "sexy!"
However, Simon was booed during the auditions for his critical comments, telling Thompson that he needed to bring something more than that. B. Thompson was eliminated during the deliberations, ending his AGT journey.
NiNi
NiNi, a folk-metal guitarist who combined traditional Chinese instruments in her performance, made it to the second round of the quarterfinals on America's Got Talent, which aired on August 20, 2024. The performance bio of NiNi reads:
"NiNi showcases a unique style of folk metal using her traditional Chinese instruments! The guitarist shreds to "Summer" by Antonio Vivaldi and "Toccata and Fugue in D Minor" by Johann Sebastian Bach."
Although she received praise from all the judges for her performance, NiNi fell short of votes and could not make it to the top 5 of the night.
Maya Neelakantan
A 10-year-old guitarist from Tamil Nadu, Maya Neelakantan, stunned the America's Got Talent judges with her performance of Last Resort by Papa Roach. Maya received 'Yeses' from all four judges, sending her to the next round. Sofia Vergara was surprised by her age and called her performance perfect. Simon Cowell praised her confidence and called her a 'Rock Goddess.' The performance bio of Maya reads:
"This kid's got talent! 10-Year-Old guitarist Maya Neelakantan traveled from India to play "Last Resort" by Papa Roach."
Maya was selected in the deliberations round of AGT and will be performing in the quarterfinals on August 27, 2024.
Chrisyius Whitehead
A 5-year-old drummer who hails from Tallahassee, Florida, Chrisyius Whitehead, took the judges of AGT by surprise with his eclectic performance in the audition round. He performed a piece by Stevie Wonder featuring Ariana Grande's Faith. The performance bio of Chrisyius reads:

He reached the deliberations round of America's Got Talent by getting "Yeses' from all four judges. However, he did not progress to the quarterfinals and was eliminated from the show.
