America's Got Talent season 19 is set to return with the Live Shows on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. A total of 44 acts will be seen competing at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, including nine Golden Buzzer acts. The results of the Live Shows will be announced on Wednesday, August 14, 2024.
The Live Shows will feature a four-week Quarterfinal. Each week, 11 contestants will present their performances, but only three will advance based on America's votes. However, during the quarterfinal rounds, the judges will each have the power to press the Live Show Golden Buzzer to send four acts of their choice to the two-night Finale.
A total of 12 acts will progress into the semifinals, where they will compete for a spot in the finale. Six acts, determined by viewer votes, will advance to join the four Live Show Golden Buzzer winners. America's Got Talent season finale will premiere on Tuesday, September 17, and conclude on Tuesday, September 24.
Previously, nine acts were granted the Golden Buzzer during the Audition rounds, which sent them straight to the Live Shows.

1) Learnmore Jonasi (comedian)
Comedian Learmore Jonasi received the Golden Buzzer on the season premiere from America's Got Talent host Terry Crews.
Learnmore's standup act left the crowd and the judges rolling with laughter. The Zimbabwe resident stared in astonishment as the live audience applauded his performance. Having received the Golden Buzzer from the White Chicks star, the comedian revealed how surreal the moment was for him.
He stated he grew up mimicking Terry's dialogues and enjoyed watching him on the big screen. An emotional Learnmore thanked him for the opportunity to advance in the competition.
2) Richard Goodall (singer)
Richard Goodall, a 55-year-old singer surprised the judges with his vocals. A school janitor by profession, Richard received Heidi Klum's Golden Buzzer after the latter was impressed by his cover of Don't Stop Believin'.
The America's Got Talent contestant revealed he sang as a hobby, often entertaining the children at his workplace, the West Vigo Middle School. He credited the children for encouraging him to pursue his dream and audition for the NBC show. Richard had previously auditioned in 2009 but could not make it past the first round.
3) Liv Warfield (singer)
Liv Warfield received judge Simon Cowell's Golden Buzzer in episode 2 of America's Got Talent. She vowed the judges with a power-packed performance of her song Stare.
A resident of Chicago, Liv is an R&B singer-songwriter, who debuted her first album, Embrace Me, in 2006. Her musical career peaked when she was chosen to join singer Prince's band, New Power Generation, for a five-year tour.
Simon Cowell thanked Liv for her performance and said:
"You just made our show great, thank you."
4) Sky Elements (drone group)
Simon Cowell gave away his second Golden Buzzer to the drone act Sky Elements, who appeared in episode 2 of America's Got Talent. The group mesmerized the audience with the elaborate visuals they displayed using 1000 drones.
They used the drones to tell the story of an astronaut launching from Earth into outer space. The astronaut's identity was later revealed to be Simon, which left the judges impressed. Simon broke the show's rules by giving away both his Golden Buzzers in one night. His previous Golden Buzzer went to Liv Warfield.
5) Legion (dance crew)
Legion received judge Sofia Vergara's Golden Buzzer in episode 3 of America's Got Talent. An Argentinian malambo dance group, Legion managed to captivate the audience's attention with their "fiery" performance.
The group showcased synchronized rhythmic footwork as they danced to the drum beat. They set their shoes on fire and danced across the stage, impressing the judges. Sofia granted them her Golden Buzzer because she wanted the world to witness the talents of South America.
6) Brent Street (dance group)
Brent Street performed on the America's Got Talent stage in episode 4. Impressed by their dance act, judge Howie Mandel pressed his Golden Buzzer, allowing them to move straight to the Live Shows.
Brent Street, a renowned Australian dance company, used rapper NF's song Hope for their performance. All four judges complimented the dancers. Howie said:
"I thought everything you did was amazing. It was a surprise."
7) Pranysqa Mishra (singer)
Singer Pranysqa Mishra won Heidi Klum's second Golden Buzzer in episode 5 of America's Got Talent. She vowed the audience with her cover of the popular song River Deep Mountain High. They listened in disbelief as the 9-year-old singer showcased her vocal range by easily hitting the high notes in the song.
As golden confetti filled the stage, Heidi expressed how impressed she was by Pranysqa's talent.
"Oh my gosh, I did not expect that. We expect a lot of things, but I did not expect that," said Heidi.
8) Reid Wilson (singer)
Reid Wilson appeared in episode 6 of America's Got Talent and sang a cover of Lesley Gore's You Don't Own Me. Moved by his performance, Howie Mandel gave his second Golden Buzzer to the singer.
The 14-year-old singer started his musical career at a young age. In 2023, Reid fulfilled his dream by singing alongside Jennifer Hudson at The Jennifer Hudson Show.
9) Schumacher (animal mask act)
A duo from Japan, Schumacher appeared on the show in episode 7. Their performance involved putting on different masks and posing in various ways to give the illusion of an animal. The unique performance impressed Sofia Vergara, prompting her to provide them with her second Golden Buzzer.
Ryu and Yuya traveled from Japan to present their act on the AGT stage. The audience applauded the comic timing of their unusual act. Sofia claimed they deserved the Golden Buzzer despite calling their act "ridiculous."
