Dancing with the Stars returns for its 33rd season, set to premiere on September 17, 2024 promising an exciting mix of dazzling performances, fierce competition, and emotional moments. The show pairs celebrities with professional dancers and has been a fan favorite since its premiere because of its unique blend of talent, hard work, and drama.
One of the season's highlights is the appearance of two Bachelor Nation stars: Joey Graziadei, the lead from The Bachelor season 28, and Jenn Tran, a suitor from his season who later made her way as the lead in The Bachelorette season 21. Graziadei has been vocal about his unwavering support for Tran as the competition begins.
"I know a lot of things have come from all this, and I think she's just really excited for her next opportunity, and I'm going to support her fully," he said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

In a recent press interview with Entertainment Weekly on September 10, Joey Graziadei stated his willingness to root for Tran, highlighting the friendship that developed during their time on The Bachelor, where Tran was one of the contestants competing for Joey's heart.
Jenn Tran then embarked on her emotional journey on The Bachelorette, only to be heartbroken when her engagement ended shortly after filming. Despite this, she jumped into a fresh challenge, contesting Dancing With the Stars.
She revealed that she had less than an hour after filming the finale to board a plane and attend the Dancing With the Stars live cast reveal on Good Morning America the following day.

Graziadei and Tran aren't the first Bachelor franchise alums to walk the ballroom floor. They join a list of former Dancing With the Stars contestants, including fan favorites Trista Sutter, Sean Lowe, Chris Soules, Nick Viall, Hannah Brown, and Matt James.
Graziadei sought advice from previous contestants Charity Lawson and Dotun Olubeko to prepare for the show. The couple, who appeared in season 32 of Dancing With the Stars, offered advice on navigating the show, from managing public attention to dealing with the physical demands of dance. He said,
"I'm close with both of them, and they were able to explain it from both sides, from Dotun being the person coming off the show and having to deal with everything that comes with it, and then Charity actually going through it."
Graziadei's tennis background has given him a slight advantage during rehearsals. His dance partner, Jenna Johnson, has already praised his light feet and surprising flexibility, giving him confidence heading into the competition.
Graziadei and Johnson's trust has been vital in their early rehearsals, and they hope to build on it throughout the season. Johnson said,
"You're flexible!" To which Graziadei responded, "I have never heard that in my life until she told me that, so I'll take it!"
With his athletic ability, advice from reality TV peers, and emotional support from those closest to him, Graziadei is ready to take on the ballroom confidently and excitedly.
Dancing With the Stars season 33 is set to premiere on September 17 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC and Disney+, with episodes streaming the next day on Hulu.
