America's Got Talent season 19 episode 9 which will showcase the Quarterfinals 1, will be released on August 13, 2024. The episode synopsis reads:
"Eleven acts take the stage live, and for the first time ever, a live show golden buzzer will send one act directly to the finals; America can vote for their two favorite acts to advance to the semi-finals by using the AGT app or going to NBC.com."
Who will advance to the Semifinals of America's Got Talent?
Since only four acts from each lineup will make it to the next stage of America's Got Talent, the competition is tough, and every performance is important.
There is a new twist this season: one act from each round will be saved by a judge's live Golden Buzzer and will be sent to the finals. The other three spots will be determined by overnight audience votes and will be sent to the semifinals. This is an added feature in this season's format.
Richard Goodall, a 55-year-old singer from Terre Haute, Indiana, who won the Golden Buzzer earlier in the competition, is one of the most-anticipated acts. The judges and the audience both loved how emotional and powerful he was on stage, which makes him a strong candidate for a spot in the semifinals.
It will be tough for the other acts, as they will need to bring their A-game into the competition. Arshiya's contortionist skills, Attraction Juniors' dance routines, and Hakuna Matata Acrobatic's jaw-dropping stunts are a few of the acts in this first quarter-final round 1 lineup.
After the performance show for Quarterfinals 1 on August 13, the results show will air on Wednesday, August 14. It will announce the four acts that advanced to the next stage of America's Got Talent.
