America’s Got Talent season 19 recently aired the quarterfinals 1 results on August 14, 2024. A total of 44 acts were divided into four groups, each containing four weeks of performances. They all looked forward to making it to the next step, but only five of them made it to the next stage of the show.

With Sofia Vergara’s Golden Buzzer, Hakuna Matata Acrobatic moved forward to the next round from the previous episode. The acrobatic group based in Tanzania gave a jaw-dropping performance in the quarterfinals.

Ashes & Arrows among the 5 groups to make it to America’s Got Talent season 19 quarterfinals
After a brief recap of the previous episodes’ performances, the host, Terry Crews, announced Ashes & Arrows was one of the Top Five performances. The musical group performed their original song Wild Horses. The country group topped the country charts with their song, while Arshiya was eliminated.
The next set was Flewnt & Inkabee and Attraction Juniors, the latter of which was the second act to reach the top five. While the Hungarian shadow dance group made it to the list, it ended Flewnt & Inkabee's journey.
After giving another funny routine performance, Roni Sagi & Rhythm, the dog act, reached the top five list. It was the third act to make it to the next stage. It meant the end of the road for Phillip Lewis, a 27-year-old baton twirler from Georgia.
Hypers Kids Africa was the fourth act to make it to the top five list. The Ugandan dance group gave another incredible performance and wowed the judges on America’s Got Talent season 19 quarterfinals 1, while Liv was eliminated.
Simon was disappointed to see Liv and her band eliminated, which he shared with Liv. He also shared how he "genuinely believes" that great things will happen to her in her career.
Heidi Klum’s Golden Buzzer winner, Richard Goodall, became the fifth to enter the top five list. As a result, the Los Osos High School dance team, based in California, did not make it to the top five, and they were eliminated from America’s Got Talent season 19 quarterfinals.
