It was full of surprises, great performances, and high stakes as the acts tried to impress both the judges and the American audience.

Highlights of quarterfinal 2 of America's Got Talent

Different acts performed in the second quarterfinal episode of America's Got Talent, with some rising to the challenge and others falling short. The second quarterfinal of season 19 of America's Got Talent began with Legión, an Argentinian dance group known for their high-energy shows. After them, Young-Min, the magician, took the stage. His disappearance act amazed the judges.

Next up was singer Alex Sampson, who played a new song that made people miss the 1950s and 1960s. A Brazilian breakdancer named Bboy Samuka lost a leg to cancer, but he still put on an amazing show. Brooke Bailey then put on a show with her version of Dancing on My Own, hoping to impress both the judges and the crowd.

The evening went on outdoors, where Sky Elements, a drone performance group, put on a show in the sky. The Japanese dance group AIRFOOTWORKS came next and did so well that Howie Mandel gave them the coveted Golden Buzzer.

The crowd loved Biko's Manna, a group of three siblings who sang I Can See Clearly Now with beautiful harmony. Then Schumacher, a comedy duo, took the stage. People had mixed feelings about their show.

Ashlee Montague's dangerous ladder routine stunned the crowd. She is a cross between a dangerous act and a ballerina. NiNi, a Chinese guitarist whose performance mixed traditional and modern rock styles, was the last act of the night.
