Netflix's latest real estate drama, Selling Sunset season 8, aired on September 6, 2024. The popular show revolves around luxury real estate agents working at The Oppenheim Group by twin brothers Jason and Brett Oppenheim.

The show's latest season ended abruptly amid various feuds and fights between multiple female cast members. Amongst all the intense situations, the associated cast members were Chelsea Lazkani, Chrishell Stause, Nicole Young, Emma Hernan, Bre Tiesi, along with her real-estate friend Amanda Lynn, and more.

Since the show ended on the 11th episode, Netflix has also confirmed there won't be a Selling Sunset season 8 reunion, as revealed by Variety. After learning about the same, fans are unhappy as they won't witness any fights resolved between the real estate agents.

Selling Sunset fans took to social media platform X as they shared their views on the show's reunion cancellation. One fan wrote:

"Another show with no reunion. They should start adding it to the contract as an additional clause: Reunions are mandatory to attend #SellingSunset."

Many fans shared their opinions about the same issues:

"So there's no season 8 reunion? I need things discussed or are they keeping it all for next season #SellingSunset," another fan wrote.
"I am calling BS on #netflix for not giving us a #SellingSunset reunion due to cast tensions running high. Give. Me. A. Break. Ladies get it together. You signed up for a reality show,” a fan commented.
"We're really not getting a "Selling Sunset"8S8 reunion. Oh my days," one more fan shared.
"Selling Sunset not having a reunion for this season should be illegal!!!! I know yall are real people but give me the tea, give me the drama #SellingSunset," a fan wrote.
"robbed of a selling sunset reunion cuz some of these women need to explain the micro aggression this season," one more fan commented.
"Girl you're telling me season 8 of #SellingSunset just ends abruptly on episode 11? Cuts to a black screen and it's done? No cast trip? No resolution of the season between ANYBODY? No reunion? WTF was that," a fan tweeted.

One fan mentioned how Netflix was doing something similar to "Bravo" and compared the two online streaming platforms for not giving fans a reunion.

"@netflix trying to be Bravo by not giving us a #sellingsunset reunion, you're just letting down the fans!"

What happened between Selling Sunset season 8 cast members? Reunion cancellation details explored

Since the real estate drama's eighth season premiered on Netflix, each episode shed light on various issues between the female brokers at The O Group. At first, cast member Bri Tiesi learned of her fellow co-star Chelsea Lazkani's husband being associated with another woman through her friend Amanda Lynn.

After much consideration, Bre decided to share the news with Chelsea, who was upset with how such sensitive information broke on the show.

Chelsea shared a close bond with fellow brokers, including Emma Hernan and Chrishell Stause, with whom Bre also seemed close. However, the situation involving Chelsea's husband did not settle well between them, as Chelsea and Bre felt Chrishell and Emma were not taking their sides.

Another controversy involved real estate agent Nicole Young, who was seen on the show, sharing about Emma Hernan and her "private affairs" with a married man. This controversy divided the cast members against Nicole.

Chrishell Stause, who is close friends with Emma, even shared an Instagram story a few days before the show's eighth season premiered on Netflix.

"I will NEVER work on a show with her (Nicole Young) on it again. I would rather be sued," shared Chrishell.

The Selling Sunset star also tagged the show's producers, including Adam DiVello and associated production house Done and Done Productions. Her story further read:

"And you are disgusting for blindsiding her with this to see with the world instead of letting her at LEAST defend herself with the TRUTH."

At the time, fans did not understand Chrishell's stories, but with all the episodes of the show out now, fans can surely understand the context to which Chrishell was referring in her previous stories.

With so many things associated with multiple cast members happening simultaneously, Netflix has decided not to move forward with the eighth season's reunion, for which fans have not been on the same page with the streaming platform.
