Love is Blind Mexico premiered on Netflix on August 1, 2024, with four episodes featuring 30 individuals as they entered the social experiment and saw them form bonds. Of the 30 singles, five couples got engaged and made it to the honeymoon phase, which took place in Tulum, by the end of the fourth episode.

One such couple was Saul and Leti, who got engaged in episode 2 and were featured heavily in episode 4. While the couple were happy together, cracks in their relationship began to appear as they met and had to share a bed.

Leti was uncomfortable with physical intimacy, while Saul was eager to take the next step. In episode 4, Leti discussed her issues with Saul while in conversation with the rest of the female cast members. She noted that she felt her fiancé had different expectations from her.

"We have different styles of showing affection. And I think he doesn't understand the way that I show it. I feel like anything I do will never be enough. But it does worry me, just how needy he is," Leti said.

"He expects me to be something I'm not": Leti chimes in on relationship with Saul in Love is Blind Mexico

In Love is Blind Mexico episode 4, Leti spoke to Silvia and Francesca about her and Saul's relationship. The couple had been having difficulty connecting on a physical level as Leti wanted to take things slow. Initially, she told Saul to think about his daughter as she wanted to be a role model for the 14-year-old Helena.

However, in a conversation later in the segment, the Love is Blind Mexico star revealed she didn't think s*x was important to building a relationship. She said the two had different love languages, but nothing she did seemed to be enough. The female cast members asked Leti whether she tried to talk to Saul about it, and she said she did.

"It's like he expects me to be something I'm not, you know?" she confided to her friends.

Francesca assured her that Leti had to continue being "true" to herself and take things at her own pace. Leti then added that she felt like she couldn't be true to Saul, the Love is Blind Mexico cast member since he was constantly asking her to be different.

Chiming in on the couple's problems, Francesca said in a confessional,

"I see that Leti's uncomfortable because she is very guarded and very reserved. And the boundaries she's tried to set are getting crossed."

Meanwhile, the male Love is Blind Mexico cast members also discussed Saul and Leti's relationship, as Willy and Chema stated they were worried about Saul. Sharing his honest opinion, Willy said he felt Saul really liked Leti and thought she was beautiful. He said that while Saul was "really into her," the latter was "a little reluctant."

Saul agreed with the Love is Blind Mexico stars and said that Leti had a hard time "overcoming her insecurities." He added that they stemmed from fear and that he was unsure if that was something she had worked on in the past or not.

"She's great but it bothers me," Saul said.

Willy asked how Leti's issues translated into the bedroom, and Chema said that Saul's partner was "afraid of success." Saul agreed and said that she was "so in love," but she doubted herself and typically "freezes up." He added that now that Leti had everything she ever wanted, she was "terrified."
