Liz featured in 90 Day Fiancé along with Big Ed Brown, who himself has been a controversial figure in the series, having been with multiple partners during the run of his appearances.

Liz and Ed's on-again, off-again romance, filled with intense drama, captivated audiences but ultimately ended in separation. The couple met for the first time in season 1 of 90 Day: The Single Life when Ed asked Liz out in a restaurant where she used to work. Liz had been divorced twice prior to Ed and had a baby daughter at the time the two met.

The couple separated for the first time during the season itself, but soon got back together and decided to tie the knot, getting engaged in the process. This is one of the 15 splits between the couple who continued to play hot and cold with each other.

The former couple was supposed to get married in August 2023 but Big Ed and Liz got into a big argument that would prove to be their last one. Big Ed canceled the wedding plans after they argued over a taco pasta recipe.

Liz claimed that the crux of the matter was when Big Ed called Liz's daughter Ryleigh "a baby" as she was not able to eat the dish due to its spicy nature.

Liz confronted Big Ed and the argument took an even more serious turn when Big Ed hurled abusive words towards Liz as his family was present at the time. Unlike before, the couple didn't resolve this argument and they finally split up for one last time after calling off the wedding.

Liz, determined to move on, wasn't looking for a relationship when she met Jayson Zuniga as they went for a run in October 2023. Jayson, who keeps a low profile compared to Liz’s previous high-profile partner, quickly develops a bond with Liz.

The Liz initially posted Instagram stories of Jayson finally launching her new boyfriend with a new post during her birthday in May 2024.

During the Tell All episode of 90 Day Fiancé, Big Ed made a snide remark about Liz’s new relationship, referring to Jayson as getting his “sloppy seconds,” which Jayson later addressed with Big Ed.

During Jayson's appearance on the show, he asks Liz to do what it needs to get closure during the reunion. According to Liz, the couple settled in Seattle in June 2024 as she had posted various Instagram stories about her starting a life there and a new job as a bartender.
