Are Michele and Devin from The Challenge 40 dating? Details explored

The Challenge premiered its new and much-awaited season 40 on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. The latest season featured over 40 contestants from four eras of the show, including Michele Fitzgerald and Devin Walker.

The two previously appeared on the show in various seasons as they competed against one another, including The Challenge, Spies, Lies, and Allies, season 38, also known as Ride or Dies, and will be seen competing against one another in season 40.

In June 2024, Michele took to social media to confirm her relationship with Devin in an Instagram Q&A which has since then been deleted. She shared a picture of the two of them kissing and wrote:

"To answer ALL of your questions, that's my boyfriend."

Devin Walker also chimed in on his relationship with Michele during a recent conversation with Parade magazine on July 14, 2024, and said that he had won her heart after season 39.

"Got myself a girlfriend who I absolutely adore. You know, no one knows who won. But I definitely won the heart of one Michele Fitzgerald," he said.

Devin Walker chimes in on The Challenge 40, relationship, and more

Devin Walker and Kaycee Clark respectively found love on The Challenge, and recently discussed the latest installment with Parade Magazine. While Kaycee was part of the Era 4 group, Devin fell under the Era 3 category based on when they first appeared on the franchise.

Devin was asked about his relationship with Michele and how it would play out in season 40 and the reality star said that everyone knew that having a "showmance" would decrease their position in the game. Devin stated he wanted to make it as tough as "humanly possible" for himself to win The Challenge 40.

"And everybody knows a really good way to decrease your position in the game is to get in a showmance. So I figured, you know what? I said it at the reunion. "I'm single, I will be banging." And that's it. Got me a girlfriend who I absolutely adore," he added.

Chiming in on Devin and Michele's relationship, Kayce stated that she loved seeing a different side of the male contestant. She said that the two couple were "such a beautiful thing" to see and she stanned the two "1000%." She called the couple "Mom and Dad."

The two MTV stars also discussed the other in-game dynamics. Devin talked about Kyle Christie not being a part of the cast and said he was Devin's "better half." He also opened up about Wes Bergmann not being on the show and said he felt like "a man on an island."

He stated that while he was o good terms with Tony, C.T., Darrell, Jordan, Cory, and Jordon, he didn't have a "true number one."

"So I would have loved to see Kyle or Wes walk through those giant castle doors. And it just didn't happen for me," Devin added.

Kaycee also commented on the cast and said she would have loved for her fiancée, Nany to be on the show. She said Nany could also have been on the Era 3 team and it would have been "really cool." The Challenge season 40 contestant also mentioned Faysal Shafaat, aka Fessy, who wasn't a part of the latest season.

"it's different playing this game without Fessy. So I always have my guys Fessy and Josh. So I would say Nany and Fessy. Those are the two that come to mind for sure," Kaycee added.

The Challenge season 40 premiered on MTV on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, however, as part of the new format, nobody was eliminated. Instead, each era had players in the danger zone, who would face off in episode 2, set to air on August 21, 2024.
