Mohommad and Safa's relationship update on Love is Blind: Habibi Reunion
Love is Blind: Habibi host Elham Ali called Mohommad and Safa the "golden couple" that loved everyone and shared that they proved that love can be truly blind. While talking about their relationship, Mohommad shared that it had been a year since their marriage, and his love for Safa "grows daily".
Co-host Khaled Saqer asked the married couple about their honeymoon, their travel destinations, and how they spent that time. Mohammad, playfully noting that Safa had to travel immediately after the wedding, joked that they “traveled around the world” at The Global Village.
The Love is Blind: Habibi contestant playfully commented about having to buy a new closet for Safa’s truckload of belongings. Safa joined in, adding that although they didn’t go on a honeymoon, they made up for it by "traveling a lot later".
The episode then featured surprising snippets from Mohammad and Safa's life as a married couple. In a year-long video compilation, the couple is shown happily celebrating their marriage while traveling to various destinations. They marked their five-month anniversary together and later celebrated Mohammad's birthday.
Host Elham Ali praised the couple for their resilience, then turned to Mohammad, asking if he had any response for those who might question the authenticity of their relationship. He answered:
"I can understand their point of view. But they haven't experienced what we went through. When I entered the experiment, I didn't expect to come out of it married. My motivation was to find a life partner. I said I'd try."
The marketing and brand manager further said that he won a lottery on the show, and if given the chance to go back in time, he would still choose to share that experience with Safa. He expressed that marrying her was the best decision of his life, noting that she transformed his life completely.
When Safa was asked whether she expected to find a partner on the reality show, she admitted to feeling doubtful in the initial days. However, as the weeks progressed, she met Mohammad and ultimately decided to marry him.
"Every time I entered the pod with Mohammad, I'd leave very happy. He matched my priorities perfectly. Family-oriented, career-oriented, open-minded, a little," she added.
Mohammad then spoke up about Safa’s travel habits, explaining that he was clear from the start that he wouldn’t stand in the way of her goals. While he admitted that her frequent trips sometimes bothered him, he shared how her return always felt like experiencing their "first date again."
As the first married couple in Love is Blind: Habibi history, they were asked to share their tips for building a successful relationship. Safa answered:
"I believe that marriage itself, I think it's a beautiful thing. Life is full of challenges, but at the end of the day, it's a beautiful thing. So I think, please try to find a partner and start a life. It's beautiful to share your memories with someone."
