“Bad energy for me” — Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta cast member Bambi discusses Scrappy’s behavior with Karlie

Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta is a reality TV series that focuses on rappers' personal and professional lives in the Atlanta hip-hop industry. The cast members for season 12 include Mimi Faust, R&B singer Karlie Redd, Jessica Dime, and Atlanta rapper Rasheeda.

In the January 21, 2025 episode, one of the cast mates, Bambi, talked to Karlie about Scrappy's behavior towards her. She said that his "bad" and "narcissistic" energy was frustrating her. Bambi said:

"You know what I'm not excited about, whenever I get around like, Scrappy, for real, it's always like bad energy for me."

The Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star mentioned that she wanted to be on neutral terms with Scrappy but tensions were increasing among them. She said she wanted to avoid conflicts with him and maintain peace for her children. Then, in her confessional interview, Bambi revealed that she had no interest in what Scrappy did in her personal life as long as it wasn't affecting her.

Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta season 12 episode 17 was released exclusively on MTV on January 21, 2025. The episode synopsis reads as the following:

"Tensions between Bambi and Scrappy reach a fever pitch, and threaten to leave the group a man down for Unruly Fest; Joc & Kendra meet with their pastor; Momma Dee ends up in the ER."

On Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta season 12 episode 17, Bambi stated that if Scrappy has a baby, that wouldn't affect her. During her confessional interview, Bambi said that Scrappy was partying and living his life and that she only cared about staying "cordial" with him for the kids. The reality TV star continued explaining where she stands with Scrappy, she said:

"I'm not really feeling a way about Scrappy having a baby like that's the furthest thing from my thoughts right now. All I care about is me and Scrappy remain cordial so that we can be in a good space for our kids."

Then, Bambi met Karlie, and she opened up about her feelings regarding Scrappy. She stated that Scrappy was trying to gain sympathy by texting her, saying that his mom wasn't well, as she was already aware of this information. The Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta cast member called Scrappy's behavior "narcissistic" and said that the energy around him was negative.

Later she told the cameras that the entire situation was "frustrating" for her. Bambi said:

"Now I am realizing this man can never face anything in life. I have always been there for Scrappy even after all of the stuff he has put me through. But I don't get the same in return. This is extremely frustrating and I'm just not going to deal with it anymore."

The episode set to air next week will highlight whether Bambi and Scrappy can resolve their problems.
