Belle Collective season 5 episode 7 recap: SoGucci and Selena try squashing their beef while Glen questions JJ

Episode 7 of Belle Collective season 5 was released on December 13, 2024, and continued where the previous episode left off. A recurring theme in the episode was the discussions about SoGucci and JJ leaving Lateshia's party due to Selena.

During the episode, SoGucci and Selena sat down to have a conversation and addressed their beef as they tried to resolve the issues between them. SoGucci said that she didn't want blood with Selena as they would both be attending cast gatherings. She added that she didn't want things between them to get awkward.

Later in the episode, Selena told her daughters about SoGucci trying to ease things between them. However, they questioned SoGucci's intentions and advised their mom to tread carefully.

SoGucci organized a health fair where experts educated people about mental and physical health. At the event, JJ accused Lateshia of purposely getting him and SoGucci face-to-face with Selena, leading to Glen, Lateshia's husband questioning JJ on why he thought so.

In the latest episode of the Belle Collective, Selena got emotional as she discussed the pent-up emotions she had kept to herself for years.

During a confessional, she said that she had kept her mouth shut in front of SoGucci. She opened up about all the pain she felt JJ and SoGucci had inflicted upon her over the years and how she didn't believe she did anything to deserve it.

She added that when SoGucci said that she might be angry because of how she was treated by her and JJ. Selena noted that she was "hurt" and was "not playing," adding that she wasn't angry but hurt.

SoGucci comforted her saying she didn't want her to hurt, and in a confessional, she said that she understood Selena's concerns because she was a mother as well. After their conversation, SoGucci and Selena hugged it out, and Selena seemed to believe that they had resolved their issues. However, a conversation with her daughters about the resolution seemingly changed her mind.

Selena's daughters seemed to think that SoGucci wasn't being real and didn't have good intentions. Selena was influenced by her daughters' thoughts and began to question SoGucci's intentions about trying to make things amicable.

At SoGucci's health fair later in the episode, JJ let Lateshia know that he wasn't happy that she had invited him and his wife to an event that would be attended by his ex-wife, Selena. Glen took note of this and told JJ that Selena had been invited to their parties for years, so Lateshia didn't invite them both at the same party intentionally. He also told him that if he ever had a problem with his wife's invitees, he should come to him.

JJ said in that case they would just have to exclude themselves from such events.
