Carrie's introduction

Below Deck Mediterranean, season 9 episode 14 sneak peek starts with the introduction of a new stew Carrie O-Neill, a new stew from Glasgow, Scotland, known for her strong Scottish accent.

In the Below Deck Mediterranean trailer, she arrives with her luggage around 5 pm and is greeted by Nathan while he is working on the deck. He takes her through the boat and to the wheelhouse/bridge where she meets with Captain Sandy Yawn. Captain pulls out her resume and takes the viewers through Carrie's on-shore life.

Carrie says that she has been on seven boats before and most of them cruised on the Bahamas. She counts some of her experiences on the boat and things that she had to go through while doing her job.

Carrie meets the Below Deck Mediterranean crew

After sharing her onshore life with the Captain and the viewers, Carrie introduces herself to all the crew members on the boat. She gets familiar with everyone and fits into the crew pretty seamlessly. Chef Jonathan mentions to Iain that there is going to be a shake-up in the living arrangements to accommodate Carrie.

Chief Steward Aesha greets Carrie with a hug and takes her below deck, where the crew is preparing for a night party. Carrie meets stew Bri, deckhand Gael and deckhand Joe, and her new roommate Elena. After meeting Carrie, Joe hints that he’s interested in Scottish girls, suggesting he might be attracted to her.

Carrie jokes about her roommate Elena's outfit and her heels, which rub Elena incorrectly. Carrie tells Elena that they need to get her "a stripper pole for those stripper heels." In her confessional, Elena says that she was caught off guard by Carries' comment. However, she will give the new arrival a pass since she has just met her.

Dinner Party

After getting ready, the Below Deck Mediterranean crew gets in their vans and head off to the party. Joe tries to bond with Carries, as he can be seen talking to her throughout their journey in the van and at the party.

While talking about Carrie's Chief Stew Aesha lets Gael, Elena, and Chef Johnathan know that the new crew member has been a chief stew before and is very good with mixology and cocktails.

During Carrie's arrival, Nathan got a text from his friend informing him of Tommy's passing. This saddened Nathan, taking him into a different zone, and he was mostly seen quiet during the entire dinner party. Gael even asks him if he is okay, however, he shifts the conversation.
