Below Deck Mediterranean, season 9 finale trailer reveals that the crew will be hosting a drag show for their queer guest. Chief stew Aesha Scott will confront Ellie Dubaich on her recent mistakes and why she was delegating all of her tasks. Further, the crew will be helping Captain Sandy with her proposal.

Aesha confronts Ellie

In one of the episodes of Below Deck Mediterranean season 9, Stew Ellie told Aesha Scott that she had plans to become Chief Stew on her boat someday. She asked Aesha if there was anything that she could teach her that might help her achieve her goals.

Aesha agreed to teach her, however, she was annoyed when Ellie wasn't listening to the tasks that she allotted her. Instead of doing the task on her own Ellie delegates those thas to Bri and Carrie. Aesha confronts Ellie on her actions in the Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 finale trailer and asks why she is doing that.

Ellie tries to clarify herself and tells Chief Stew that "it was not meant to be like that" and that it wasn't her intention. Aesha, however, was not satisfied with Ellie's response. In her confessional, she claims that instead of explaining herself Ellie was trying to gaslight her into believing that she wasn't aware of her mistakes.

"I feel like Ellie's gaslighting me in a way. Like she's standing there acting like she's so unaware," Aesha says in her confessional.

Aesha further adds that she thinks Ellie is "calculated" and she can't possibly predict what goes through her mind and what she is feeling.

"She's so calculated. I don't feel like I ever truly know what Ellie is feeling", Aesha added in her confessional.

On the other hand, Ellie implies in her confessional that Aesha has a problem with anything she tries to do. She further adds:

I'm just trying to prove to my boss that I can do this job. How is she supposed to write a reference saying that I could be a good chief stew if she's never seen any sort of leadership skills from me?

Captain Sandy's Proposal

In the other half of the Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 finale trailer, Aesha pulls Deckhands Gael Cameron and Joe Bradley aside and informs them about Captain Sandy's proposal plans.

She tells them that she will be taking on the organizing role and they will be helping her set everything up.

Chief Stew further adds that Ellie would be handling things on the boat and the proposal will take place at sunset. Gael gets emotional about the plans and thanks Aesha for making her a part of it.
