What happened between Captain Glenn and Daisy on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 episode 13?
On Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 episode 13, Captain Glenn informed Daisy about the previous charter guests' complaints. Before having a group meeting, he had a chat with Daisy separately, revealing the guests were not satisfied with the service and sensed some tension with the "female" crew members. Glenn said the guests were disappointed by the experience they expected "on a super yacht." He continued:
"So, before we went out to say our goodbyes, I had a chat with them. They just felt, mostly, that the service wasn't up to the level that you would expect on a super yacht."
Daisy shared her perspective on this matter, stating there was a "bad vibe" about the previous charter. She shared that she tried to make conversations with the guests and make them feel welcomed but the Below Deck Sailing Yacht cast member felt she was being stonewalled. Daisy, however, did take "responsibility," she elaborated:
"There was just such a bad vibe. And I will take responsibility for that. I mean, I felt like I always had my manners. I think I tried to start conversations. But the looks I was getting, the conversation if I tried to start it, it was like stonewalling. And it got to the point where I was like, 'I don't want to be around them.'"
Upon hearing this, Glenn asked how they could prevent this from happening for the next charter of guests and what ways they could come up with when the guests aren't in the best mood. Soon after Glenn suggested this, Daisy walked off and the yacht captain asked her to take a moment alone.
Later in the episode, Daisy apologized for "walking off" and Glenn clarified that he intended to resolve the issue if it came up again and be prepared for the next chart. He said:
"I know you can do it. Take that on board. Realize that, 'Hey, I can do better.'"
Both Below Deck Sailing Yacht cast members hugged each other and concluded the conversation. All-new episodes of Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 air exclusively on Bravo TV every week on Mondays at 9/8c and the next day on Peacock TV.
