Yet another season of Below Deck has come to an end with the last episode of season 11 airing on Monday, May 27. After the previous episode saw Captain Kerry reprimand the crew, especially Ben, for their irresponsible behavior, episode 17 saw Ben apologizing to him.

In a previous episode, Barbie was upset because Kyle had worn a kilt and let his parts hang loose. Episode 17, titled End of the Line, saw Kyle repeat the same thing, which put Barbie off, again. She was angry because she was scared of disappointing her family.

In other news, episode 17 saw Sunny and Ben discuss their future outside the boat.

Final tip announcement, and other important events from Below Deck season 11 finale

Ben's apology to the captain

After Ben's irresponsible behavior in the last episode of Below Deck, Captain Kerry was unhappy. Ben and Kyle hadn't cleaned up their room ahead of cabin inspection, which Kerry thought was disrespectful, because the crew had known of the day way ahead.

In a confessional on episode 17, Ben regretted his behavior and decided to go and apologize to the captain. While there, the captain said:

"I appreciate you coming up and talking to me. That means a lot, and I hope it’s a learning experience for you".

Final tip is announced

On this last day of yachting on Below Deck, the crew gathered after the guests left. The Captain appreciated everyone's efforts and told them that their work had exceeded everyone's expectations.

The captain then announced the final tip to be $20,000, which brought the total to $1538 each. He said that brought the season's total to $208,750, which the crew gathered in six weeks.

Barbie's mad at Kyle's n*dity

After Kyle already knew of Barbie's disappointment in him for going n*de under the kilt in a previous episode, he did it again in episode 17. The crew went for dinner at a waterfall, where a drunk Kyle went in for a skinny dip.

She was very disappointed in him and told Sunny:

"I'm a f*cking class act, and I'm not gonna date somebody who's not".

But when she tried talking to Kyle, they ended up expressing love for each other and stubbed the fight with a kiss.

Ben asks Sunny out on a date

Throughout the season on Below Deck, Ben has always made it clear that he didn't want anything serious to do with Sunny. But in the last episode, Ben said that he thought that their relationship was going the right way and that he would like to take her on a date.

In a confessional, Sunny said she was a hopeless romantic and hoped that they have a future together.

Barbie leaves the boat after an altercation with Xandi

On their way back to the boat after a day at the waterfalls, a drunk Xandi said she would have done things differently if she were the boss. She said she would have fired Barbie for her "bad attitude".

This put Barbie off and she started shouting at everybody to stop them from asking her to calm down. She also locked Kyle out of her room and accused him of not backing her up. She then packed her bags, left the yacht, and checked into a hotel.

The next morning, Kyle told Ben that he received a message from Barbie, saying she never wanted to see him again. This didn't trigger Kyle, he instead said that he was glad she was gone. He said:

"I do feel like she took me for a ride".

Meanwhile, Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 premieres on Bravo on June 3, at 9 pm ET.
