CBS released all-new Big Brother season 26 episode 10 on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. The latest episode, PoV and Ceremony, focused on the Power of Veto (PoV) competition, followed by the PoV ceremony. Cedric Hodges became the third Head of Household (HoH), giving him HoH power to nominate three housemates.

Cedric nominated Angela Murray, Kenney Kelley, and Tucker Des Lauriers on Big Brother season 26 episode 10. Following the PoV competition, which Tucker won, Cedric chose Makensy as a replacement nominee. However, she opted for America’s Veto and saved herself. BB AI then shared that the third nominee would be revealed later.

As of now, the remaining housemates on the show are Angela Murray, Brooklyn Rivera, Cedric Hodges, Cam Sullivan-Brown, Chelsie Baham, Joseph Rodriguez, Kenney Kelley, Kimo Apaka, Leah Peters, Makensy Manbeck, Quinn Martin, Rubina Bernabe, T’kor Clottey and Tucker Des Lauriers.

What happened on Big Brother season 26 episode 10? Details explored

Cedric’s first nominee for the upcoming eviction process was Angela. He chose Kenney as the second nominee, who was homesick, but he was confused about the third nominee.

Kenney considered choosing Makensy since she had “America’s Veto” power. However, he decided on Tucker as his third nominee, who wasn’t his target for the eviction. Against Kenney’s advice, Tucker had come up as the pawn.

The current HoH Cedric thought that after two housemates would end up on the chopping block, the winner of the Veto would be leaving. As a result, he won’t need to select a replacement nominee.

Big Brother season 26 episode 10 saw three housemates on the chopping block: Kenney, Angela, and Tucker. From last week’s conversation, Tucker realized what Angela was telling him, and he finally understood that Quinn had the secret power. Later, he chatted with Kimo, who shared more details.

Tucker thought that if he could win the Veto, someone else (Makensey or Quinn) might have to use their power to save somebody.

PoV competition on Big Brother season 26 episode 10

Cedric chose Leah and Makensy against himself for the Power of Veto competition and three nominated housemates. There were six players competing in the PoV competition: Cedric, Leah, Makensy, Angela, Kenney, and Tucker.

The competition was named Recharge My Core, wherein they had to finish the race throughout the jungle while they carried a power core. If they ended up touching the vine, it would result in a 10% battery drain. With an 85% remaining battery, Tucker won the Veto.

Throughout the episode, Tucker was seen involved in various discussions about the other two having secret powers.

Makensy and Leah were in the same alliance, while Cedric and Quinn were in the same team, which is why Cedric was determining whether Quinn shared anything about his secret power with him. Quinn didn’t share anything of that sort with Cedric, so Cedric wasn’t in alliance with Quinn anymore.

Later, Cedric asked Makensy if he could interest her in becoming a pawn, which she didn’t like. Tucker went to Cedric and Kenney and shared his thoughts.

According to Tucker, he would use his veto on Angela and take out the “strongest players,” as a result, there would be Kenney and Tucker against Quinn, resulting in the latter going home. Moreover, Tucker wanted to compete against Quinn in the A.I. Arena, not Angela.

Veto ceremony: Big Brother season 26

Tucker shocked the rest of the housemates by choosing to save Angela with his Veto power. Cedric chose Makensy as the replacement nominee, which Tucker did not like and thought was “stupid a** idea.” Tucker apologized to Makensy, as it was not his plan to nominate her.

Soon, Makensy revealed her “America’s Veto” and removed herself from the nominations. BB AI Ainsley shared with everyone that the replacement nominee will be announced right before the A.I. Arena competition.
