Big Brother aired episode 15 of season 26 on August 15, 2024. In the previous episode, Quinn used his deepfake power and took over from Angela as HoH (The Head of Household) which she won the second time. Quinn proceeded to nominate Rubina along with Makensy and Cedric.

Episode 15 saw a new power being introduced, namely the AI Instigator. Through this power, the American citizens would vote for one houseguest who could use an AI avatar, thus creating chaos in the Big Brother household and earning an undetermined amount of money in the process.

The episode also saw Cedric going home over Rubina, with a of 6-3 against him. Cedric is the fourth houseguest to be evicted after Matt Hardeman (Week 1), Lisa Weintraub (Week 2), and Kenney Kelley (Week 3).

Julie Chen Moonves is the host for this season, which started with 16 contestants eyeing the prize money of $750,000. Julie also introduced Ainsle, an AI assistant in the house who can change the rules of Big Brother season 26 mid-game.

Big Brother season 26 episode 15: What happened?

After the events of the last episode, Tucker was now safe from eviction as Rubina's name was put up for elimination. This caused a rift within the houseguests as the members of The Collective were with Cedric, while other guests wanted Rubina to be safe.

Quinn had a conversation with Kimo and T’Kor as they both felt neglected by other Collective members. Quinn expressed that if they went against the group, Tucker would be able to eliminate everyone easily.

The two of them had a chat with Rubina and Tucker about an alliance with Brooklyn as the fifth person and named themselves, The Five Pointz. Angela started eavesdropping and later asked the group to let her join in as well to which Tucker reluctantly agreed.

T’Kor and Kimo continued to ponder which way to go as they didn't trust Quinn but also didn't want to irk The Collective members. Leah and Makensy also talked to the two about keeping Rubina because the budding romance between Tucker and Rubina would keep the attention on them during the upcoming weeks.

In the AI Arena, Cedric, Makensy, and Rubina took part in a competition to remove their names from the nomination. The competition was called “Upload/Download," in which the players needed to roll some balls up a ramp and land them at the very top. The competition was mostly between Makensy and Rubina who went back and forth, but eventually, Makensy won by a small margin.

Both Cedric and Rubina pitched for themselves to keep staying in the house of Big Brother. Julie called for every houseguest to gather in the living room and asked Cedric and Rubina to make their pitches in front of the others before voting. They both fought back tears as they made their pitches and asked for the rest of the guests to give them more time.

Angela and Quinn were not allowed to cast their votes this week while the rest of the guests voted against either Rubina or Cedric. They entered the diary room to cast their decisions. Tucker, Makensy, Leah, Kimo, T’Kor, and Joseph cast their votes and decided to evict Cedric, while Chelsie, Brooklyn, and Cam voted to evict Rubina.

This meant that Cedric was voted out by a result of 6-3, and acknowledged that he shouldn't have volunteered to put his name up for voting. When prompted by Julie about who he thought didn't vote against him, he could only name Brooklyn.

Big Brother season 26 airs every Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday on CBS and Paramount+.
