CBS recently aired Big Brother season 26 episode 17 on Thursday, August 21, 2024. The reality show was ready for the upcoming Veto competition and more drama in the house. With 12 housemates left in the game, participants made many plans and plotted to strengthen their own game.

During the 17th episode of the show, Tucker played his own game by narrating different stories to different housemates. However, his plan was later not-so-secret since other players discussed it privately.

Later, in Big Brother season 26, after the Veto competition ended, there was a mess of clothes, which did not end well. Tucker once again won the Veto competition.

The episode ended with Quinn revealing about The Pentagon and The Collective, while Cam thought there would be a "new order" in the house soon.

Big Brother season 26 episode 17: New HoH Tucker and his different "plans"

The 17th episode of Big Brother season 26 started with Tucker Des Lauriers, the newly appointed Head of Household (HoH), and his plans. There were 12 remaining houseguests, including Tucker Des Lauriers, Brooklyn Rivera, Cam Sullivan-Brown, Chelsie Baham, Joseph Rodriguez, Kimo Apaka, Leah Peters, Makensy Manbeck, Quinn Martin, Rubina Bernabe, T’kor Clottey, and Angela Murray.

New HoH Tucker wanted to keep everyone under the impression that Quinn was his real target for the upcoming eviction, whereas he wanted to send Brooklyn home because he saw her as an influential competitor.

However, Tucker told Brooklyn and Cam that he will nominate them as pawns, but his real target is Quinn. Later, Tucker told Quinn that he wasn’t the real target in the upcoming eviction, even though Tucker had said otherwise in the veto meeting earlier.

Housemate Chelsie was happy that she was not among the nominees for the week. However, she knew that if a Veto power was at play, she might get nominated as a replacement nominee.

Things got even more complicated later when Quinn and Brooklyn had a chance to talk in private, and they realized that Tucker had been telling each of them a different version of how things would unfold in the upcoming nominations.

Big Brother season 26 episode 17: Veto competition

HoH Tucker chose Makensy and Joseph to compete alongside himself in the upcoming Veto competition, Hide-n-Go Veto. For that, housemates had to hide their veto memory card inside the house, and the one whose card was to be found at last would win the competition.

Joseph hid his card in Angela’s bag lying on the bed. Brooklyn hid her card wrapped in a towel in Quinn’s dirty laundry bag. Quinn chose to hide his card in a garment bag hastily.

Cam went for his pillow and hid the card inside it, while Tucker hid it under the hallway drawer. Makensy hid her card on the bottom of the planters near the front door.

Quinn found Brooklyn’s card in his laundry bag and eliminated her. Next was Cam, who found Quinn’s card in the garment bag. Tucker found Makensy’s card from the planters.

Brooklyn was frustrated, so she tossed Tucker and T’Kor’s clothes out of the closets to find a card, which she found later. It was Cam’s card. Cam was the last person to find the last memory card, which ended the game.

Soon, Quinn and Brooklyn learned that they were not the winners. Later, Cam finally found Joseph’s card, meaning Tucker was the winner, as his card was not found.

After the Veto competition in Big Brother season 26 episode 17, everyone went inside the house and witnessed the mess that needed to be cleaned. Angela and Tucker were not happy about the clothes that were thrown around.

Big Brother season 26: Veto meeting, Quinn’s revelation, and more

Later, Tucker learned from Brooklyn that she and Quinn had a private chat about Tucker’s plan. Quinn then went to Tucker and shared how Brooklyn came to him.

She shared about her and Tucker’s conversation. Tucker again asked Quinn about the tossed clothes, which Quinn said he wasn't responsible for.

Later, during the Veto meeting on Big Brother season 26 episode 17, Quinn gave a speech in which he mentioned that he knew about last week’s eviction plan, of which he was the real target. Quinn also revealed that he knew of The Pentagon and The Collective and added that Chelsie and Brooklyn were in charge.

After witnessing that, Cam thought everyone was starting "from scratch" and that everything might reset in a new order from that week onwards.
