Big Brother season 26 released its episode 21 on August 29, 2024, on CBS. As seen before in the show, the Head of Household (HoH) T’kor had to nominate a replacement for Cam after he won the Power of Veto and decided to remove himself from the elimination block.
Even though T'Kor was in alliance with Angela, she decided to nominate the latter along with Makensy and Tucker for eviction. She claimed that Tucker would be the pawn and Makensy would be the real target, as one of the three would be eliminated by the end of the episode.
The names of the 11 remaining houseguests competing for prize money of $750,000 include Angela, Kimo, Cam, Joseph, Chelsie, Leah, Makensy, Quinn, Rubina, T’kor, and Tucker.
What happened on Big Brother season 26 episode 21?
In the Big Brother's house, Tucker was visibly upset with T'Kor for putting Angela's name up for nomination instead of Leah's as he suggested. T'Kor reacted by questioning whether she could get Tucker out if the need be. Angela revealed to everyone in the living room that she was part of an alliance with Tucker and felt Quinn couldn't be trusted.
Seeing this development, Rubina tried having a conversation with Tucker in hopes of mending things between him and T'Kor. Tucker retorted by stating that he was unsure "if anything was real." Rubina disclosed in front of the cameras that she felt sad by Tucker's statement as it implied that their romantic relationship on Big Brother was also fake.
Meanwhile, Chelsie initiated the idea of voting against Tucker in front of Cam, who quickly came on board, but was skeptical of getting on the wrong side of the voting. When Chelsie went to chat with Leah and Makensy about the same, they were also interested in the prospect of Tucker going home. Quinn showed mixed feelings in regards as he felt that would create a distance between him, Kimo and T’Kor.
As the episode progressed, Tucker, Makensy, and Angela competed in “Puzzling Password” game for today's AI Arena challenge in Big Brother. In the task, the players had to assemble an oversized puzzle. In turn, a numerical password was revealed that the contestants had to match from a series of encrypted choices. Makensy won the challenge easily against the two competitors and was safe from the nominations.
Both Tucker and Angela pleaded their cases in front of the houseguests. Tucker shared that he would love to stay on the show as he could keep the atmosphere in the house light. He also mentioned that there were no hard feelings between him and the other houseguests as "it was just a game". Angela also expressed her desire to stay in the house as she wanted to spend more time with them.
The host of Big Brother, Julie Chen Moonves asked the houseguests to cast their votes. With a result of 5-3 votes against Tucker, Julie announced that Tucker was getting evicted that day, which prompted Rubina and Cam to shed some tears even though the latter voted against him. Tucker proceeded to hold Rubina in his arms to embrace her one final time and kissed her to everyone's applause.
After Tucker came out of the house, Julie asked him, “Did you throw it?” while talking about the AI Arena. Tucker denied it and claimed he wanted to build from the back first which hampered his chances. He also stated that he didn't feel betrayed for being voted out by the other houseguests. But he was surprised that Makensy voted against her as she had previously mentioned about staying loyal to him.
Before Tucker could leave, Julie revealed to the audience that for his role as the AI Instigator, Tucker would receive $20,000 as voted by the country. This left Tucker teary-eyed as he wished to see Rubina win the show even though he would miss spending time with her.
New episodes of Big Brother 26 air every Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday on CBS and will also stream on Paramount+.
