Big Brother season 26 has disclosed the alliances in the house and how the dynamics between players have changed since Tucker's elimination. Now that Quinn has the power of HOH, he revealed he would "reward" the houseguest who helped him evict Tucker from the house. Episode 23 focused on the Veto competition as the AI arena eviction competition will take place in the upcoming episodes.
Competing for the final grand prize on Big Brother season 26 include 10 remaining houseguests: Angela Murray, Cam Sullivan-Brown, Chelsie Baham, Joseph Rodriguez, Kimo Apaka, Leah Peters, Makensy Manbeck, Quinn Martin, Rubina Bernabe and T’kor Clottey.
The Head of the Household, Quinn Martin, took over T’kor Clottey's position and chose Angela Murray, Rubina Bernabe, and Kimo Apaka as his three nominees for the eviction challenge. In the newly released episode 23, out of the 10 contestants, Joseph, Kimo, Leah, Rubina, and Quinn competed in a task to win the Power of the Veto.

To the viewers' surprise, Leah's hard work paid off as she ended up winning the Power of Veto for this week. Big Brother season 26 episode 23 aired exclusively on CBS on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at 8 pm ET/PT. The episode synopsis reads:
"The houseguests compete to win the power of veto; during the veto meeting, the winner of the competition can keep nominations the same or save someone from eviction for the week."
Leah wins Power of Veto competition on Big Brother season 26 episode 23
Participating in the Power of Veto competition on Big Brother season 26 episode 23 were Joseph, Kimo, Leah, Rubina, and Quinn. For this task, the players had to compete in a Bot Builders game where they were required to show their speed in the A.I. Bot Self Assembly Facility. As it was already dark there, the contestants had to assemble the bot without actually seeing it. Houseguests who were not a part of this competition were given a chance to view the competition on the screen.
It was evident that Joseph wasn't putting much effort which came off as deliberate to the viewers. Meanwhile, Rubina and Quinn were eliminated leaving Leah in the end who won. With the new power, Quinn wanted Leah to do exactly what he wanted as his main target was Angela.
The Big Brother season 26 contestant, on the other hand, felt she should use the power according to what she wants. In a shocking plot twist, Leah saved Angela with her newly found power going against Quinn's advice.
This meant Angela was removed from the block and then Quinn chose Joseph as the replacement candidate for the AI arena competition.
Episode 23 will focus on how the three nominees convince others to vote for them. One of them will be sent home and their journey on the show will come to an end. For the AI arena competition, only one nominee will win, saving themselves from a potential eviction. If it's Joseph, he has already declared to get revenge on Quinn.
