CBS aired Big Brother season 26 episode 3 on July 21, 2024. The third episode featured all the housemates entering and settling in the house. Earlier, there were two separate challenges for housemates, the results for which were revealed. Some secret powers were also given to Angela and Quinn.

Big Brother season 26 episode 3, HoH and Nominations, started with results from the previous challenges from the first two episodes. As of now, all 16 participants are settled in the Big Brother house.
According to the results, Cedric and Chelsie were downgraded after they voted against BB AI in the previous episodes. This means neither of them will get a say in the upcoming eviction process, and there is a chance they will also be evicted from the game.
On the contrary, Quinn and Makensy, who voted in favor of BB AI, were upgraded, meaning they won the challenge. However, they weren’t notified about it yet. Soon, everyone was getting acquainted with each other.
“Have-Nots” volunteers and more
BB AI asked for four volunteers for “Have-Nots.” Tucker, Cam, Quinn, and Kimo volunteered. Have-Nots were supposed to sleep in a separate room, seeing which Quinn thought he might not survive a day in it.
Later in the episode, Angela shared her intentions about Matt and called him a pretty boy. However, Matt was getting to know Kenney better after learning that the latter is in the military. While Kenney is worried about revealing too much of his own game as he does not want to trust anyone, Matt trusts Kenney.
Additionally, Matt got to know Tucker and Cam. They talked about their mutual subject— fitness.
Upgrade results announcement and secrets
While housemates were getting to know each other and sharing things about themselves, BB AI finally announced the upgrade results. To find out, housemates were called into a room separately. They were notified about the results, which were that Quinn and Makensy won the upgrade.
Additionally, Quinn became a deep fake Head of the House (HOH), meaning he could steal the real HOH’s power and nominate any housemate of his choice. Makensy won the Veto, so they were safe from the next eviction.
Big Brother season 26 episode 3: Nominations and HOH
Soon, BB AI asked the HOH to nominate three participants for the upcoming eviction. She also mentioned that the HOH will be nominated automatically if a Veto has been used.
Housemates needed to form teams to compete for HOH. Cedric and Chelsie had already been nominated, so they were forbidden from participating. Tucker and Makensy were also not allowed.
As a result, Kenney, Matt, and Quinn won the first round. They chose to eliminate Kimo, Rubina, and Brooklyn. After the second round, Angela became the new HOH - Head of the House.
She thought of allying with Chelsie, Joseph, and Cedric so they would be safe. After Joseph learned about Matt’s intentions, he went to Angela and told her everything. Later in the episode, Quinn revealed his secret power to Angela.
