Big Brother season 26 episode 35 was released exclusively on CBS on October 3 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT. The episode started with the Power of Veto (PoV) competition.

As fans already know, Head of Household (HoH) Makensy Manbeck had selected Kimo Apaka and Rubina Bernabe for possible elimination. However, the PoV was supposed to change the decision as one of the nominees would be replaced by either Cam Sullivan-Brown or Chelsie Baham.

In episode 35, Chelsie thought Rubina was a bigger target as she had the ability to convince Makensy. Rubina, on the other hand, was already planning how to evict Chelsie from the house while hoping to win the PoV competition. All the remaining contestants admitted Kimo was the biggest threat in the game due to his social game. Meanwhile, Makensy was thinking through her decision.

Towards the end of the Big Brother episode, Kimo was evicted from the house after Cam and Chelsie strategized multiple times and convinced others to vote him out. The official synopsis for episode 35 read:

"Following a live vote, a houseguest is evicted and interviewed; remaining houseguests compete for power in the next head of household."

What happened on Big Brother season 26 episode 35?

In Big Brother season 26 episode 35, Makensy suggested putting Cam on the block and removing Rubina, so that an all-women trio could remain in the end. Chelsie wasn't in favor of this decision as she believed Rubina might target her and convince Makensy to do the same.

Cam, on the other hand, was offered an alliance by Kimo, who suggested that they both should be the final two. But this was only possible if Rubina was voted out. While talking to Chelsie, Kimo's game strategy was different as he portrayed Makensy as a bigger threat in the game, by placing a seed of doubt in her mind.

After winning the PoV on Big Brother season 26 episode 35, Makensy decided to not use her power, hence, Kimo or Rubina's position wasn't replaced. Towards the end of the episode, the remaining houseguests unanimously decided to vote out Kimo as he was a stronger player than Rubina. Cam and Chelsei voted out Kimo and by 2-0, his journey on the show came to an end.

During his exit interview, Kimo shared that he believed he would have won the series, that's why he became a target. Kimo admitted that his alliances with Rubina and T’Kor was one of the reasons he was being seen as a threat in the competition. He added:

“I was gonna win this game. Everybody is gonna do whatever’s best for their game, and I respect any decision that’s made. But for me, being in this house, I needed people. We all kind of needed people. The target just ended up on us because … friendship. That just became a threat to everyone. We’re a strong trio."

The upcoming episode will reveal how the dynamics in the house will change now that Kimo has been sent home. It will also be unveiled if Chelsie continues her alliance with Cam to convince Makensy to make the decisions they want.

Stream Big Brother season 26 exclusively on CBS every week on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
