Big Brother season 26 episode 8 saw the week's eviction and Kenney winning the Veto power
The eighth episode of Big Brother season 26 featured the week's eviction from the 15 remaining houseguests. They included Angela, Brooklyn Rivera, Cam Sullivan-Brown, Cedric Hodges, Chelsie Baham, Joseph Rodriguez, Kenney, Kimo Apaka, Leah Peters, Lisa, Makensy Manbeck, Quinn Martin, Rubina Bernabe, T’kor Clottey, and Tucker. Of these, Kenney, Angela, and Lisa were on the block for eviction.
In the previous episode, Kenney got the Veto power after he won the challenge, and Tucker was ready to be Kenney's replacement for the eviction. However, Tucker later claimed that Makensy should be the one on the eviction block. He also suggested that she could use her upgrade power. Despite his suggestions, the final nominees for the eviction were Tucker, Angela, and Lisa.
The housemates then discussed who had secret powers from the first week's task and how to use them. Tucker wanted the current Head of Household (HoH) to nominate Makensy and claimed that Lisa might have the power. When Tucker confronted Lisa about having the secret power, she denied it, and Tucker told the other cast members that Lisa had the secret power.
Angela told Tucker that Quinn had the secret power, as he walked around them. The two continued their conversation, and Quinn seemed to have a clear idea that they were talking about him.
Lisa and Angela’s heated-up conversation
Lisa, Rubina, Tucker, and Joseph were having a conversation about Angela and how she was a "loose cannon," not knowing that Angela was listening in as well. As she walked closer to them, Angela called Lisa "a twit," which led to an intense argument between them. Lisa called Angela a bully before rushing to the storage room, as she was having a panic attack.
Who was evicted from Big Brother season 26 episode 8?
Nominated housemates were set for the A.I. Arena challenge. They were supposed to rotate gears to assemble puzzle pieces correctly and match them with the security scanner key. Whoever did it the fastest would win the task and be safe from eviction.
Tucker was the first one to assemble the pieces and was safe, meaning that either Lisa or Angela would go home in the follow-up eviction. Before the final eviction process, Angela hugged T’Kor and cried. Lisa, along with a few housemates, congratulated Tucker for winning the task.
Later, Angela thanked her housemates and the people who were outside, and quoted Natasha Bedingfield’s lyrics, “Setting an example.”
With a majority of 11 votes by Tucker, Rubina, Quinn, Joseph, Brooklyn, Cam, Leah, Kimo, T’Kor, Cedric, and Makensy, Lisa was evicted. Meanwhile, Angela was safe, as there was only one vote against her, Kenney. However, Lisa wasn’t shocked after learning that the vote against her was 11-1. She hugged everyone and left Big Brother season 26.
Lisa joined Julie for the exit interview, while Angela thanked everyone for saving her. In the interview, Lisa stated that she was “blindsided” and that no one was speaking the truth. She also added that if the housemates had evicted Angela, then that might have been better since Angela was the bully.
