Big Brother season 26 has given insights into house politics and how each houseguest made alliances with one another. The newly released episode 18 was a surprising shock for the audience after Tucker won the veto competition being the Head of the Household. When the secret alliances were disclosed in front of him, Tucker targeted Brooklyn, with the help of others who voted her out.

So far, Tucker has won three Power of Veto, and two A.I. Arena eviction competitions and has claimed himself as the Head of Household. Due to his power in the house, he is a threat to many players.

The most recent eviction led to everyone voting out Brooklyn Rivera, who emphasized that Tucker has to be eliminated. She implied that if he stayed any longer, contestants would be competing for a second position on the show.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight on August 23, 2024, the eliminated contestant shared that every houseguest was "scared" to be on "Tucker's bad side." Summarizing the ongoing situation in the Big Brother house, Brooklyn continued:

"Everyone is really worried about being the next nominee, especially with there being three nominees and a replacement every week. People just don't want to make the big moves. They are nervous to get on Tucker's bad side."

Tucker's journey on Big Brother season 26

After Tucker won the Big Brother season 26 Head of Household competition, he used his position to blindside others. When he got into a position of power, Tucker clarified to Quinn that he wasn't going to target him.

Even though it was his true intention, Tucker wanted to guess which houseguests were in an alliance. So, he went along with telling everyone that they should vote Quinn out, from the three nominees.

Quinn on the other hand didn't trust what Tucker was saying and tried to be more careful with his moves around the new Head of Household. However, he didn't hesitate to expose The Pentagon and The Collective alliance after which the HOH replaced Quinn's position as an eviction nominee with Brooklyn's.

This change in the house dynamic on Big Brother season 26 was a shocking plot twist. After Brooklyn got eliminated, she warned others that Tucker might just win the grand prize if the houseguests didn't turn on him soon enough. In her ET interview, she explained that initially "no one wanted to work with him." Brooklyn said:

"He is scared of someone that's smarter than him. He is scared of someone that has more cojones than him... I wasn't nervous that he was a good competitor because he wasn't good socially. That's why no one wanted to work with him at first.

The Big Brother contestant reflected on her time in the house and how Tucker's mindset worked. According to Brooklyn, he was trying to "blow everyone's game." She said:

"He was kind of like a kid that got picked last on the playground and it put a chip on his shoulder, so all he wanted to do from then on out is blow everyone's game up."

The upcoming episodes will reveal if the remaining houseguests plan on following Tucker's lead or if they will attempt to overthrow his power.

To see Tucker's next move, stream Big Brother season 26 exclusively on CBS every week on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
