Big Brother season 26: Release Date and timings for all regions

Big Brother season 26 is set to air on Wednesday, July 17, and Thursday, July 18 exclusively on CBS. The iconic reality TV competition series is back with an exciting plot twist. As per the official Paramount press release, 16 new Houseguests will move into the Big Brother house.

All cast members will get a chance to vote for who they want their 17th co-star to be. This has never been done before in the franchise's history. The two-part premiere episode will be released from 9:00 PM ET/PT to 10:00 PM ET/PT.

According to the official CBS website, the show synopsis reads as the following:

"Big Brother follows a group of people living together in a house outfitted with 94 HD cameras and 113 microphones, recording their every move 24/7."

After the Big Brother season 26 premiere episode airs, the upcoming episodes will be released every week on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Episodes will be available to stream live on Pluto TV, Paramount+, and CBS network at 9:00 PM ET/PT.

Hosted by Julie Chen Moonves, the upcoming season will be full of drama, beef, conflicts, and arguments as each cast member navigates their way into the house. The house guests range from celebrity stars to former undercover cops. The first episode will introduce viewers to the new faces of the iconic show.

The press release further states that the "unforgettable summer" will be full of "jaw-dropping surprises," it mentions:

"This season’s Houseguests include a celebrity chef, a former undercover cop, an event bartender, a former marine, a physical therapist and a crochet business owner, among others. This new group of Houseguests will experience an unforgettable summer with jaw-dropping surprises as “BB AI” takes over the BIG BROTHER house."

Executive Producers of the hit reality TV show, Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan shared what fans can expect from the new season. During the July 9, 2024 press release, Allison and Rich explained that an AI theme would shift the game dynamics in the house. Season 26 promises to bring a fun-filled adventurous hooking approach to the CBS show capturing the hearts of the audience.

They said:

“From summer camp, to tech, to the multiverse, BIG BROTHER loves to put a twist on topical and pop culture themes. This summer’s ‘BB AI’ theme promises to bring the fun, the comedy and the unexpected game play that is a hallmark of BIG BROTHER.”
