Within six weeks, Big Brother season 26 has already seen a significant number of evictions. This season has been marked by intense gameplay, unexpected twists, and shifting alliances, all of which contributed to the elimination of several houseguests.
By the end of week 6, six contestants had been evicted from the Big Brother house: Tucker, Brooklyn, Cedric, Kenney, Lisa, and Matt. These evictions have not only thinned the competition but also set the stage for future confrontations and strategic plays.
Who has been eliminated so far in Big Brother?
Matt Hardeman
Matt Hardeman, a 25-year-old IT sales representative from Roswell, Georgia, was the first houseguest to get evicted from Big Brother season 26. Despite creating alliances and developing connections, Matt soon found himself in conflict with Angela Murray, the first Head of Household. His attempt to clear the situation with Angela failed, prompting his nomination and subsequent backdoor eviction.
Matt's early exit on day 10 set the tone for the season, showcasing how rapidly the game can change and how early rivalries may be a player's downfall.
Lisa Weintraub
Lisa Weintraub is a 33-year-old celebrity chef from Los Angeles, California. Known for her "vibe curation" talents, Lisa immediately became a social butterfly around the house. However, her outspokenness and confidence made her a target right away. Despite winning the first veto of the season and avoiding eviction, Lisa's position in the game remained tenuous.
Lisa's downfall began when she became entangled in a series of disagreements with another houseguest, Angela Murray. Their persistent quarrel resulted in Lisa being nominated for eviction yet again. Although she thought Angela was the objective, the house had other intentions.
Tucker Des Lauriers, who suspected Lisa of having upgrading power, engineered her eviction. On day 17, Lisa was caught off guard and sent packing, leaving behind a bewildered Angela and a swiftly evolving game.
Kenney Kelley
Kenney Kelley is a 52-year-old former undercover detective from Boston, Massachusetts. Kenney aimed to match the achievements of previous champions such as Derrick Levasseur. However, he struggled from the start with his desire to stay in the game, frequently voicing questions about his devotion.
Kenney's game was characterized by emotional upheaval and shifting loyalties. Kenney momentarily considered leaving the game after losing his closest ally, Matt Hardeman, in a stunning eviction.
Despite this, he won an important veto competition, which briefly revived his confidence. However, his unpredictable behavior and shifting loyalties made him an easy target. In week 4, Kenney requested to be nominated for eviction. His desire was granted, as he was eliminated on day 24.
Cedric Hodges
Cedric Hodges is a 21-year-old former Marine from Boise, Idaho, who began his Big Brother journey at a disadvantage. At first, he had minimal voting power and was regarded as a low-risk player. However, he swiftly joined the game's most powerful coalitions, such as the Pentagon and the Collective. Cedric even won the Head of Household (HoH) award, reflecting his growing power in the family.
Despite his initial success, Cedric's game began to crumble when Tucker Des Lauriers recommended a dangerous backdoor strategy. Tucker got Cedric to nominate Quinn Martin, who was accused of wielding covert authority. The scheme backfired, and Cedric became increasingly alienated.
The last blow came when Quinn utilized his "Deepfake HoH" power to control the nominations, using Cedric as a pawn. Despite his alliance's efforts to protect him, Cedric was evicted on day 31 during a house flip coordinated by Kimo Apaka and T'kor Clottey.
Brooklyn Rivera
Brooklyn Rivera, a 34-year-old business administrator from Dallas, Texas, was another houseguest who approached the game strategically from the start. As a member of the Pentagon alliance, Brooklyn found herself in a powerful position within the house. However, the game took a turn when the Pentagon's influence began to slip.
In week 5, Brooklyn was nominated alongside Quinn and Cam. Tucker, the Head of Household (HoH), told her that Quinn was the main target. Tucker's decision to utilize the Power of Veto (PoV) to remove his main adversary and select another supporter, Chelsie Baham, stunned the house.
Brooklyn's impassioned response during the eviction, in which she openly lambasted Tucker, was insufficient to save her. She was evicted on day 38, making her the fifth houseguest to depart Big Brother.
Tucker Des Lauriers
Tucker Des Lauriers came into the Big Brother house with a defined strategy and the intent to be a force to be reckoned with. Tucker, a marketing and sales executive from Brooklyn, New York, wasn't afraid to make daring moves. He immediately established himself by regularly winning tournaments and creating relationships that kept him safe week after week.
Tucker found himself on the chopping block again in week 6, but this time as a pawn as events took an unexpected turn. Tucker's defeat in the puzzle competition, a challenge he was very enthusiastic about, sealed his destiny. Tucker was evicted on day 45 after the remaining members of the Pentagon alliance and other houseguests spotted an opportunity to strike.
